OK, I trace out the connection, that pin is the PS_ON pin. Monitor the DC voltage on the pin when TV is off and when power switch is activated, black probe on the chassis, then report the readings.
The PS_ON (around 3VDC if it is Active High, or goes low if it is active LO) is fed through R959 to the Base of Q904 to turn the PFC and the 24V power supply on, the PS_ON voltage should change state when TV is turn on and off.

I have no voltage on that pin with tv off or pressing on button.

OK, so since there is a resistor in series with the base, unplug the connector from the main board side, take a piece of wire (safe due to resistor built into board) and jumper it between PSON and 5V standby. Do you see 24V output and ~390V on the big capacitor?

I unplugged the main board plug off ps and jumped out 5v and pson pin
and i get 375v on the big capacitors but still nothing on inverter
Plug pins, no 24v but i han main board unplugged is that correct.

That's correct. Looks like you may have bad PSU and bad main board. Perhaps a mains surge took out both.

I wouldn't be that quick to throw it in the trash, it's probably repairable, but you'll need to trace down the fault in both parts.
