    sansui LCT42DSFT USB

    HI to all.
    problem is to much brightness in pic even without signal .
    when no signal screen should show a BLUE SCREEN and now its a little beet gray .when ther is signal the pic is a little beet grayny.
    I enter to service mode by remot SOURCE AND 2580.
    I went to eeprom and I got this.
    eeprom;addr:000
    date:00
    save
    factory recal
    I pushed the factory recal and afew sec after its the same problem.
    am I missing something in the reset procedor.
    or culd be the problem in the tcon board or screen defect?.
    please need help.

    I get no google hits at all on that model number - is it correct.
    Is it LCD or LED
    What does it do with a source connected
    Is there sound
    Can you update your profile with country and mains voltage

    We can help a lot more if you please post good clear pictures of the whole chassis, and then pictures of each board, front and back (in the same orientation) and close up of connectors, (max resolution 2000x2000 and 2MB) using the manage attachments button, which is found by clicking "go advanced" under quick reply.

      no google hits.its a lcd .when a source is connected can see good pic with color but too much brightness and sound ok.
      main board is 28.A001100-0020 and tcon is T420HW04.
      I will try to post letter a pic.

        problem solved.
        I replace the ic AS15HF WITH AS15G INTHE TCON BOARD AND TV WORKS FINE.

          Wow -well done - dont think I have seen anyone replace chips on a T-con.
