ok need help with samsung 46 inch lcd tv colour issue

so i picked up this used samsung ln-t4661f that didnt power up low and behold 3 bad caps i changed them and tv turns on works great except i find it a bit greenish in colour even using all the features on the menu it still weird in colour now could it be the ribbon cable not connecteing properly or is it the t-con board now can i reflow a t-con board or is it best to buy a new one

Can we see a picture of the effect?

It is possible to adjust precise colour balance factors in the service menu, as well as performing a complete reset.

Does twisting the panel correct the color or change the apperance? Repaired a 46" sanyo 2 days ago that had a similar looking effect and the TAB ribbon on the far right side was loose.

also i changed 3 capacitors on them the original ones were valued at 2 was 1000uf 10v and the other one was 1000uf 25v i changed the two with 1000uf 16v and the other one i did 1000uf 35v should they all have been rated at 1000uf 35v ???

ok i just learnt the code reset thing (mute 182 power) it seems to have help but with the cartoon i had playing its like a trailing effect so what now ???

The panel is defective due to bad tab bonds, most likely.

But is shouldn't be darker also, on one side of the panel?

Not always, panel defects can be regional or global.

you most likely have bad tab bonds, in which case neither will help.inverter boards won't cause this.

Inverter for sure is not,because when you have it on the static screen it stays on.
I had a Toshiba 42" that initially it had a perfect screen and suddenly it would freeze and black out the whole screen. It's not the same symptom, but it's similar and for me, another T-con board fixed the problem.
You should remove the plastic bezel, remove the metal LCD case and touch all the tabs, to see if anything changes.

i checked the tabs and visually they seemed fine i guess ill take the chance and see if i can find a cheap used t-con board

Take a hair dryer and heat up the tab bond areas and see what happens then.

the tabs are all on clips there not the glue down types so im getting a feeling that the panel is not good no more
