Telefunken T32R915FHD - PSU VESTEL 17PW04-1 voltages to low

    Hello everyone,

    Can anybody help me ?
All Fuses OK, but Voltages to low.
    12V - real 8,3V
    24V - first 24V , falling down to approx. 18V if i connecting a multimeter.

    - the same failure after disconnecting the T-Con and Inverter Board.
    - replaced any caps on the PSU, no changes

    pictures follows

Have a multimeter and no tv specific but electronic experience.

by the way: im not a native english speaker , maybe i didnt understand some phrases ...

    Thank you

    Is this an LED-LCD TV?
Common issues with Vestels are bad caps (electrolytics & poly film.)

Clear pictures of your board would be necessary.

      Bonne chance.

          That is a poly-film cap.
          Good luck.

Re: Telefunken T32R915FHD - PSU VESTEL 17PW04-1 voltages to low

                Hi,

Problem with my tv is, when power up tv backlight turns on but no picture.
After +- 45 min I get a hanging picture, 10 min. later the tv is working normal again. I get 11.9v on the connector from psu to main board. On the T-con fuse I get 11.7v. When i disconnect the T-CON form main board, then i get 12.1v on on the connector from PSU to main board. So i was wondering if the problem is PSU or T-CON? I replaced already some capacitors on PSU but no good resold.

Its a Medion LED tv 4 years old with a VESTEL 17PW04-1 PSU.

                Many thanks.

                Bas

Sounds like an issue with the Lcd display to me. Got an image of the whole backside of the Tv ?

What DCV do you get at the T-CON fuse when you do not have pictures on the screen and when you do have pictures on the screen?

Main board have a cold solder problem. When MB was hot, tv was working fine. So problem solved after re-flowing main board.

I came across this forum because I need some advice about my Telefunken XF43G511 TV. It is originally a Vestel device. For some time now I have had the problem that the TV gets a black screen when the electronics are heated up. The backlight is still there and the sound still works. It's just the screen itself that goes off. When I switch off the TV and it cools down, the TV works again after a while. Could you please give me some advice on what could be causing this problem? I have also attached some photos of the electronics.

                                    Kind regards

I taped the flex a bit, but i couldnt get any further. I attached the pictures of the t-con board in zoom in perspective. I would appreciate help for this TV. Please note that I came from Germany, so it is a bit difficult with the time zones. Greeting Tobi...

                                    Hello guys,

I have a Philips 240B7QPJEB. The monitor seems completely dead.
I opened it and measured the voltages of the powersupply. I found that a mosfet was dead and replaced it.
On the connector, that goes to the TCON board, all voltages 15-19V and 5V are present.
The small connector on the left of the PSU has two cables with 18V and all the other have 0.2V. It connects on this small connector on the left ontop of the panel. I guess the backlight? Seens fine I guess.
The weird thing is, that the Power LED is powered over the TCON board.
