(Vestel) Telefunken XF43G511 - Thermal problem

    Hello,
I came across this forum because I need some advice about my Telefunken XF43G511 TV. It is originally a Vestel device. For some time now I have had the problem that the TV gets a black screen when the electronics are heated up. The backlight is still there and the sound still works. It's just the screen itself that goes off. When I switch off the TV and it cools down, the TV works again after a while. Could you please give me some advice on what could be causing this problem? I have also attached some photos of the electronics.

    Kind regards
    Thomas

I have made some progress in identifying the problem. The 12 V voltage of the power supply is too low. It only supplies 8.8 V. Sometimes the voltage rises to 9.2 V and then the screen switches on. A Vestel 17IPS62 power supply unit is installed in my television. Can anyone give me a hint as to what could be faulty here?

I have checked all the diodes, capacitors and transistors with my multimeter and there is no short circuit or anything else suspicious. However, I also have oscilloscopes that I could use to check the voltage signals. But I haven't done that yet.

When I unplug the cable for the LED backlight, I have perfect 12 V again! And the display also works again, which I check with a torch. Is it possible that there could be a short circuit somewhere on the LED backlight? Can I check that with a multimeter?

      1. Problem: It started with random picture disappearing (sound still worked).
Frequency: Happened about once a week.
Solution: Had to turn off TV wait a few seconds before turning it on again.
      2. Problem: Then it got worse and the TV started to shut down and when turning on the no picture just sound.
Frequency: Happened about once a week.
Solution: Had to turn off TV wait about 10-20 seconds and turn it on again to solve.

Dell Latitude 5570 Ambient thermal sensor reading -127 Degrees C
      by Gcnewbie
Forgive me this is my first request for help on this forum, so if i've screwed up or not followed the rules i should have i apologise profusely.

I have a Dell Latitude 5570 that was randomly shutting down, on further investigation i found that the machine had been shutting down due to thermal events as noted by windows event viewer.
My investigations lead me to the dell diagnostics screen, where i found that there were two sensors out of range which had been causing the shutdowns, one of which was the GPU thermal sensor and the other the ambient sensor.
      I opened the...

      Thinkpad X1 Carbon "LMQ-1MB 12298-2 48.4LY26.021" VCC3M problem

      i have a problem with thinkpad X1 carbon gen 2 "LMQ-1MB 12298-2 48.4LY26.021"
The laptop was turned off because the MOSFET was not transmitting voltage. After checking it turned out that the gate pin on the MOSFET was the problem, because it was producing an inappropriate voltage. and it was discovered that the problem was with the Think engine, so I decided to reprint each pin, and finally the mosfet could work properly. However, there is another problem, even though the voltage has been supplied to the laptop, it still won't turn on, there isn't even an LED indicator. After double...

Vestel tv, how to flip the image?
      by France_53
Hello everyone from Italy, I'm here to ask for help on a Vestel TV, I've had a Vestel TV branded "XD" with a broken screen for years, but now I've found a Telefunken (still Vestel but older) and I've mounted the panel on the "XD" TV, it works, but the screen is upside down, given that Vestel does not allow you to rotate the image from the service menu, does anyone know how to solve the problem? the original panel is marked ves315WNDS-2D-N12 while the main board 17mb110, the panel I mounted instead in the tv (from the telefunken) is a ves315WNDA-02. ... It is not worth repairing...
