Vizio VW26L HDTV10F Lines on screen and shuts off randomly

I have a Vizio VW26L HDTV10F that has stopped working recently. It powers on, but the picture is weird, and then it fades into the normal blue screen. If I leave it sitting there, sometimes it will power itself off after a few minutes. I took the back off and didn't see anything out of the ordinary, so I thought I would ask for some advice. Would you think the Main Board, or the Power Supply would be the fault?

Perhaps that is a "no signal" screen and it is powering off after a few minutes -- may be normal behaviour?

In which case try attaching a source and see if that shows distortion too, also can you try accessing the menu and see what it looks like.

After I let it sit there for a while it finally clears up, and says no signal, but in the pics, is what it looks like when I first turn it on. I can't access the menu, or input either, until it warms up. It doesn't always shut off, but it does occasionally.

Get a hairdryer, turn the TV on and make sure it is malfunctioning, then heat up that large processor and heatsink in the middle of the board. If functionality comes back quickly, repeat the test a few times to confirm. You will likely discover the processor needs a reflow or you need to replace the main board.
