Re: Vizio VW26L HDTV10F Lines on screen and shuts off randomly
After I let it sit there for a while it finally clears up, and says no signal, but in the pics, is what it looks like when I first turn it on. I can't access the menu, or input either, until it warms up. It doesn't always shut off, but it does occasionally.

Vizio VW26L HDTV10F Lines on screen and shuts off randomly
I have a Vizio VW26L HDTV10F that has stopped working recently. It powers on, but the picture is weird, and then it fades into the normal blue screen. If I leave it sitting there, sometimes it will power itself off after a few minutes. I took the back off and didn't see anything out of the ordinary, so I thought I would ask for some advice. Would you think the Main Board, or the Power Supply would be the fault?...

The brown blotches appear to be some flux. The scraped right off when I picked at them. I'll upload some better pics in a min.

Re: Protron PLTV-32c won't power on
Here are some pics of the mainboard removed from the tv. On the pic of the whole tv, there is a gray box on the right. That is the tuner board. Just let me know if you think I need to take that out and get some pics of it too. If there is any specific parts of the main board that you need to see closer, just let me know. Thanks for you help!...

Re: Protron PLTV-32c won't power on
I couldn't see anything with a flash light. I tested the voltage on the power supply, the only reading I could get was the 5v reading for the standby. 24v was reading .25 and the 16v was reading .25.

Protron PLTV-32c won't power on
I have a Protron PLTV-32c that won't power on. It has a standby light that is orange when it's first plugged in, and then turns red. I push the power button and it turns green for a few seconds, but nothing on the screen. The power supply and mainboard appear to be in good shape as far as the caps go. Any ideas on what I could check for?

Re: LG 37LC2D No Sound, and No Channels
I will try a new PSU and see what happens. Hopefully the rest will be fine. I'm really unsure about the TV not getting channels though. Makes me believe that something else may have blown too. I really appreciate your help! I'll report back and let you know the outcome.

Re: LG 37LC2D No Sound, and No Channels
There is also a rattle noise coming from the board when I shake it. Sounds like something is loose inside of something else.

Okay, well there is definitely a blow out! This must have been the problem the whole time....

Re: LG 37LC2D No Sound, and No Channels
The 12v drops to 11.0 when the middle is unplugged.

Re: LG 37LC2D No Sound, and No Channels
Its still reading at 11.78 for the 6v. I unplugged the middle connection, and then it dropped to 10.98, but that is still almost double. Its crazy because the tv works as far as picture goes. It just has no sound nor channels.
