That diode is causing your problems in the inverter on circuit, after the first one I found I ordered a bag of 50 of them from china for 2 dollars free shipping on ebay...

Re: emerson LC320EM9 Blinking power light

Your TV is doing what I call the classic Funai shuffle

When you press the power button the main board sends a signal to turn the power supply/inverter on and the inverter/ power supply in turn sends a feed back signal to main board telling it i'm on and everything A OK.

When the main board does not get this feed back it does the Funai shuffle "flashing power led".

I don't think the burnt resistor is related to the problem, and its possible you may have caused that resistor to fail... IDK

I hope this helps and always check the diodes around the Transformer on the main board first. You can test all of them in circuit, you don't need to pull them.

Re: emerson LC320EM9 Blinking power light

I am also repairing a Emerson LC320. Thanks to tom66 for posting the service manual.

My unit has all the correct voltages at CN301 as advised in the prior post. However, there is no 3.3 volts present at CN301 pin #3 (backlite sw.) So, no successful power-on-self-test. The 30 volts for the inverter never cycles on.

Visual inspection of all boards O.K. Pulled and checked the 30V section caps with a ESR meter. O.K. Checked all power section diodes for open or shorts. O.K. Did a basic check on the 30V N-Channel MOS driver (K3561), and the four MOSFETS that drive the inverter transformers. They seem O.K.

So the problem is no inverter section power-up. I did solder a wire to CN501 pin #3, backlite switch, and placed a 3 volt battery on it to force the inverter on. It did not help. In fact, the voltage across the battery dropped to .38 volts when I put the AC power to the unit. I wonder if that is due to Q1971 & Q1972 in the protection circuit. I am a bit over my head at this point.

Any help would be much appriciated.

From what I see on here there seems to be a diode that needs to be replaced.

I just got a tv that is doing this and will be trying to figure out which one as well.

Looks like there is a diode in the circuit that tells the main board the inverter is on, which I believe is probably on the main board since I have tried replacing the inverter board already. If someone has some insight it would be appreciated.

                        Thanks!

My model is the LC320EMX, does anyone have a service manual for this? My model seems to be a little different than the one posted.

Had this same problem. Used ShopJimmy kit 1FSA10474. It had the mosfet and diodes I needed. And thanks to BUDM for the schematic found were everything went.

                                    Hi all!

I'm trying to troubleshoot a Microsoft Surface Pro (5th gen) model 1796 that won't power on. Motherboard model is M1007506-015. My priority is retrieving data, but the SSD is integrated so it looks like if I can't repair it it'll need to go to a data recovery company. I've done a little basic board repair before, but nothing this advanced until now. So please forgive my ignorance in advance. 😅

I found the boardview for this laptop in the forums here, and am able to open it on my PC with FlexBV.

The board is daox8cmb6eo and i can't find no boardview or schematics on the forum or anywhere...

So i plug in the charger, amber light starts blinking ,there is 3.3V and 5V present, and 2.4V on the power button, board doesn't turn on, no shorts...
                                    I've tried flashing the bios...

interesting thing is the battery was around 7,8V, and it's 11.1V battery, the mosfet near the battery is open, but not charging,i desoldered it,tested it and it's fine ,but the amber light kept going on the charger so i charged the battery with power supply and got it to about 10.5V...

                                    Hi there,

I've got a 39" LG 39LN540V that's just spontaneously stopped working! The symptoms are - when I plug it in, the red light will flash on twice, then go out, there's no visible picture, and I couldn't see anything using a torch on the panel either. If I press the power button (either remote or on TV), the red light comes on continuously. If I press power again, the red light flashes twice.

The TV is using a power board EAX64905301. I've attached a diagram of the power output, I've tested the voltages with a multimeter and I'm getting the following:
                                    ...

Good day, hope all are healthy and cozy. I could use some help with my malfunctioning Vizio with a blinking power light. I have narrowed the problem to the main board but not sure what to do next. I guess it would be good to start with what I have done.

I have no image, no sound, blinking power light. (left it plugged in overnight and it was still blinking the following morning). I tried the Vizio recommendations (hold power button for 30 seconds, press reset button, check the outlet is live)
