Re: Sony XBR-52HX909 No Power -Red LED blinks 5 times
This TV uses LED backlights, still cannot find the error codes for this TV yet, still researching. Try disconnected the CN6752 which feeds the LED backlights assemblies and see what happen.
Please take the DC voltage readings on CN6151, CN6152 also.

Please avoid adding pictures to posts in line, instead use the manage attachments feature in future.
I need a picture of the chassis to determine what design this uses (24V or high voltage inverter.)Leave a comment:

Completely Black. Not a hint of Flicker.
Thinking it might be the inverter board. (RUNTK4332TP)
Have to dig out the meter and take some measurements.Leave a comment:

Sony XBR-52HX909 No Power -Red LED blinks 5 times
Have a XBR-52HX909. Will power on for a few seconds then shut itself off. White Sony LED logo will come on at bottom of tv. Click then off. Will blink 5 times on front Red Led then stop for a minute then blink 5 times again.
No Menu will come up ( No OSD). Nothing when switching inputs.
Screen looks like it doesn't even start up.
Have tried leaving unplugged overnight. Does the same thing next morning.
Did visual inspection on power board ( Sony 1-474-239-11 G6 ) couldn't see any problems.
Cant find service manual for the unit. Spend all morning googling different #'s and phrases but haven't turned up any ideas on the cause. Thought I would ask if anyone knew the problem off the bat or what the 5 blinking LED's meant.
Really hoping I can fix it.
Appreciate any advice.Tags: None

Vizio e601i-A3 - Has Sound and Display, But No Backlight - Bad Power Supply Board or Bad LED Bulbs ?by Tynan DillI was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.
Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.
I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.
The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.
With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

by PantherDaveHi all!
I'm trying to troubleshoot a Microsoft Surface Pro (5th gen) model 1796 that won't power on. Motherboard model is M1007506-015. My priority is retrieving data, but the SSD is integrated so it looks like if I can't repair it it'll need to go to a data recovery company. I've done a little basic board repair before, but nothing this advanced until now. So please forgive my ignorance in advance. 😅
I found the boardview for this laptop in the forums here, and am able to open it on my PC with FlexBV.

by GLISITHi all,
TL;DR - this laptop is driving me nuts with the oddball power-related behaviors. Appreciate any insight you can provide!
I'm experiencing a power issue on an Asus Probook P5440UF-XB74. Although I've worked with electronics and computers for decades, this is my first attempt at getting into motherboard-level component troubleshooting. Any help the community can provide is greatly appreciated!

by magnehHi there
I have this set with no power, blinks power led twice.
This seems to point out to D board issue
My first question is which one is the D board?
The main board?
Or one of the power boards?
Are they labeled with this? (did not checked the boards yet)
Thanks for any inputs... - Loading...
