You've abandoned at least two repairs in your last posts. We like to actually fix stuff, not waste time. It's very frustrating when no reply come back.
How about some pictures? You've been here how long, and no pictures? No list of what you've tested already? Have you owned the set since new or ...?Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!

tom66: i try two set, the sanyo wish i burn the power supply, i replay the i was jus goint to buy the power supply and the samsung wish they replaay and toll me that the screen was bad. i finish with both thread. Belive me i want to fix them too and i really apreciate your help.

Leave the TV unplugged, disconnect the large cable between the Main board and the power supply board, plug the TV in, the backlights should come on right away.
What is the P/N on the power supply-inverter board? BN44-???????Never stop learning

You have power supply/inverter board combo, the two boards on the side are balancer boards with lamp current sensing transformers for each lamp. To verify if you have power supply-inverter board problem or the main board problem, you have to disconnect the cable as I suggested in post 6, if it does not stay on, then you have power supply-inverter board or one of the lamp draws too much current, you must follow my suggestion on post 6.Never stop learning

If the backligts do not turn on the minute you plug the TV to the outlet with the large cable between the main and the power supply board disconnected, then you have bad power supply-inverter board or lamp over current problem.Last edited by budm; 01-12-2013, 11:59 PM.Never stop learning

Ok. I tested the power on and the 5.v on j850 and i am getting power,sudenlly i hear the samsung music and i can see in the back of the screen that it on. I get no picture. I turn it off and now went i turn it on it start clicking trying to turn on. My question, tom66 show me how to jump it getting power from any other source, Can i do the same thing here?Comment

Vizio e601i-A3 - Has Sound and Display, But No Backlight - Bad Power Supply Board or Bad LED Bulbs ?I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.
Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.
I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.
The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.
With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

I'm trying to troubleshoot a Microsoft Surface Pro (5th gen) model 1796 that won't power on. Motherboard model is M1007506-015. My priority is retrieving data, but the SSD is integrated so it looks like if I can't repair it it'll need to go to a data recovery company. I've done a little basic board repair before, but nothing this advanced until now. So please forgive my ignorance in advance. 😅

Picked up another TV. Samsung UN43NU6950FXZA. No power and no standBy led on. Removed back cover and:
Main fuse = OK
Back light LED = OK. Power them with aux power source
LED output = OK 156V
I do get 12 V DC out of the power supply going to the digital section but no 5V or 3.3V. PS_on voltage is only 1.8V. I have looked everywhere on the PCB , I could not find i reference for 5V output.
Also removed connections to panel, speakers and remote but no luck. One strange thing is that even with the LED power supply working, backlight LED do not turn on... -

My Samsung TV is about 4 years old. The exact model number is UE75MU7009TXZG.
About half a year ago I started seeing occasional green frames pop up while watching movies. I mean literally green frames. Not the image turning green, but the entire screen turning green for a split second. This happened maybe once or twice during a 2 hour movie. So no big deal, but clearly something was not quite right.
