Perhaps one of these would work

    http://www.digikey.com/product-detai...3GG-ND/2546107

Check/compare datasheets. Care re physical size so it fits the pads

I talked to digikey when I ordered the other ones. They say its not available and they claim there is no cross reference. I would think there something comparable and compatible.

May I ask what voltage readings you get on all 3 pins? It looks like 1117 series LDO

One of the pin is at Ground, so 0V reading, the 5 must be the input which is 5V, the middle pin/big tab is the out put pin, 3.2V? The out put should be within 2% (3.23V = 2%). So it looks like it is OK.

Now don't quote me on that lol. Ill have to make sure but I think either far right or left was the 0.
I didn't see any bad caps or anything.... without pulling and testing them all.

From your picture, the pin on the right is the ground pin, left pin is the Input.

"Reg 17809 is 5-3-0a reg g9084-50" I am not familiar with these numbers of the regulator.By the way, the problem you are having right now is that you so have backligts with VIZIO logo on the screen, that is? It will not do anything else, but you can still turn it off? It sound like corruption of EEPROM?

Correct. The screen comes up black with vision screen and that's it. Can turn it off and on. It just started. It would take longer and longer to start up and some days it would start immediately. Then 2work weeks ago just the vision screen. I think I just found some bad caps on the power board...not popped but a little mustard color film. So u saying dead main?

Budm - Think those are the voltages on the 3 different regulators. He was testing when he got back home.

DB have you tried getting into the service menu to do a reset - sometimes you can get menus when the rest is scrambled

I think I researched 903t63 and it is a fixed 3.3 600ma so if it was the correct physical size the one I suggested would do as a replacement but looks like you dont need one.

I cant even get a menu to pop up (if im doing it right anyway) Its just vizio screen. Off topic the tcon board is giving some weird readings on the regulators also. I still have to check that other regulator to see if it would fit, Do you want me to just measure with a tape measure?

                                      Why don't you use LM1117 3.3V
Which are simply 3.3 Low Voltage drop out Voltage Regulators
They are available all over EvilBay for about $1 or so each

I use them all the time and work fine for me

Sometimes you can actually reflow the original and this works also using a heat gun on the regulator
