Trying to verify T-CON part # to Samsung LTA460HE03 LCD panel

I'm having issues with horizontal lines on my LCD panel and the TCON board whining. ShopJimmy.com says that my LCD panel, LTA460HE03, should have TCON #LJ94-02328H and that LCD panel, LTA460HE03-001, should have TCON board LJ94-02328G, which I have on my TV.

Which is more likely, that shopjimmy is mistaken with their part numbers, or that someone has gotten into this TV ahead of me and swapped in the wrong TCON board, which would explain the issues? Is there a way to confirm the part #'s? Can anyone find the data sheet for the LTA460HE03 panel? Thanks

One way to confirm is to find a Samsung TV which uses the same LCD panel, then look under the parts list for the t-con part. An incorrect t-con can cause lots of weird issues.

I've been trying. The problem is the only site I know that lists part numbers like that is shopjimmy and their numbers say I have the wrong tcon board.

Re: Trying to verify T-CON part # to Samsung LTA460HE03 LCD panel

Is this panel out of a Samsung TV? If so, provide the full model number and version number of the TV and I can check on the correct part #. The full model number includes all of the letters at the end (LN32A450D1FXZA for example). The version number will be on the small model # tag on the side of the TV. It will be 2 letters and 2 numbers such as HA03.

If not a Samsung TV, we can give more assistance if you give the actual brand and model of the TV, not just the panel number.

LG 82UN8570AUD ~ TCON or PANEL?
            by kca
            Hello all ~

Hope this finds you well. This LG 82UN8570AUD (April 2021 model) 4K UHD television has full audio capabilities but video is compromised / problematic.

When I picked up this large LG tv it had a full black screen upon startup. Previous owner said it just went black one day. No popping sound or anything else of note.

I got the display to work by taping off several traces of the right-hand side ribbon cable on the TCON that leads from TCON to PANEL. However, despite dozens and dozens of attempts to find the right combination / range of traces taped...

TCL 43S423 TCON OR PANEL FAULTY???
            by netgearnetgear
Good day, I have a TCL TV: Model 43s423. After turning ON the TV, the ROKU TV logo appears with fine lines over the whole screen, then after a while there are vertical bands in the middle of the screen top to bottom and the TV tries to update its firmware but I do not have the remote to connect it to my new network connection. Also the Power ON light blinks 2 times in quick succession. When I remove the ribbon on the right of the tcon board the left side of the screen shows but with fine lines. If I remove the left side ribbon and connect the right side ribbon the whole screen is blank with...

Driving a Sharp TCON/panel with a universal main board
            by advant
This thread is about trying to get an Universal Main Board to work with a Sharp TCON and panel.

I have a Sharp LC-46D85UN TV that has had a main board issue. Since this model is from 2009, I am not able to find an exact replacement of the main board. Instead, I decided to see if I can future proof this tv by getting a Universal Main Board (T53U21.2) from China to work with the Sharp TCON (CPWBX4291TPZA) and panel. The universal main board supports a 8 bit dual channel LVDS interface whereas the TCON requires a 10 bit dual channel LVDS input. I have modded the LVDS connector to match...

Samsung UN50TU8000 - Dead Panel Forensic Questions
            by KYBOSH
I came across a 50inch TU8000 that wouldnt start up properly (blinking stand-by light, backlights would cycle on and off).

When i opened it up and removed the power to the mainboard the backlights powered up and everything looked uniform.
When reconnected the mainboard but disconnected the flex cable to the panel i heard the TV startup with the intro sound.

Later I checked for shorts on the panel PCB boards but could not find anything.
When I took a look with the FLIR i noticed the 2 resistors...

Sony KD-75XF9005 grey Picture but Sound. TCON or panel?
            by iglitare
            Hi,

i want to repair a Sony KD-75XF9005 TV that initially only showed a grey picture.
Backlight seems to work, Sound (Setup menu after reset) works.
If i dissconnect the left FFC cable from TCON to panel i have half a screen on the right. If left cable is connected always only the grey screen.
Interchanged the cables, its always only the right side that is working. Always grey if left side is connected.
With my small knowledge i would think at least the cables are good.

Can this happen because of a bad tcon board?
Or is it always a bad/shorted...
