Yeah, you're most likely not going to find a replacement panel at a practical price these days. I got mine on eBay about two or three years ago, and it was for a smaller TV (26").

Not economical - 90% the price of a new TV in most cases.

This is purely unscientific, but Sony LCD TVs are notorious for panel and main board issues. If you've tried a known working main board, you probably have a bad panel. Do the vertical lines on the screen in your pic show up like that when it's first turned on, or do they gradually appear?

If you tried a good mainboard & Tcon then it may be the panel
their may be a fuse on the Tconn did you check

You would need a ESR meter that is capable of testing on board or take them out to test.

    Screen Display Vertical Multicolor Lines
    by Stanley1843
Hello, I have a screen in where sometimes when I open it pop-up vertical multicolor lines (I would say the most of them are green). If I tun off and turn on the screen the lines dissapear or if I leave open the screen after approximately five minutes the lines gone. I measured the below voltages on the main PCB and on the T-CON board and the voltages are the same when it doesnโ€™t display the vertical lines and when it displays the vertical lines. Also, I cleaned all the connectors very good with IPA. I moved back and forth the connectors and the COF tabs but the vertical lines didn't displayed...

Sony 8K XBR-75Z8H White Screen Vertical Bars Tcon Code. Help Needed๐Ÿ™
    by Daren87
    Hello everyone,

I've recently been given a Sony 8k Z8H. It's got a white screen with two vertical black bars. At times it's given me the 5 blink Tcon code. Testing voltage on the Tcon I can see some low or missing voltage. I've done a basic visual check of cables and the COF. Not seeing anything obvious. The original Tcon seemed to have good caps until turning it over. On the bottom I found maybe 10 caps with both sides of the caps shorting to ground. I thought ok these caps and likely other components on the Tcon are shorted so let's try a replacement Tcon. I just received the...

TCL 50S535 bad tcon or panel issue?
    by x_orange90_x
Just bought this for 10 bucks yesterday hoping to fix it. The guy said water dropped inside from a dehumidifier hose and it started showing black and white vertical bars then went blank. When I got it home and turned it on it came on fine and displayed correctly but I was noticing faint vertical bars in the image. After a little bit I turned it off and back on and it was a black screen again. I opened it up to check for water damage and corrosion but didn't find anything of the sort. I cleaned the ribbons anyway and reconnected them but still got a blank screen. If I disconnect the right side...

LG OLED77G1PUA - No Video / Audio after a TCON Board change and Software Update
    by Hakuu
    Hi There,

This TV was auto switching off after few seconds with some vertical lines on the screen, so got a new TCON board and replaced it.

After replacing the TCON board it was working fine and i set it up with everything, used for few hours, then had the bright idea to update the software on it. During the update process, TV switched off and now no audio or video. No relay switch sound.

    More Details

    TV Model - LG OLED77G1PUA

Got the same exact TCON board from TVPartsToday and replaced it. But didnt transfer the EPPROM data (didnt...
