I have a sony KDL 32S3000 that has a bad picture. Fuse F4003 had blown which caused a error code. The tv would come on shut off then flash the led . After replacing the f4003 fuse the tv stays on but the picture has very high contrast and can not adjust to bring it back to normal. I cannot find what circuit that f4003 powers. it is shown on the picture of the board but not shown in the schematic that i have. I replaced the T-con board because IC (U8) AS34-G on the t-con board was running very hot. I can not find any information on the t-con board. Thought it might be defective. AS32-g on the new board also runs very hot.Any input would be appreciated.

Re: Sony KDL32S3000
Sorry to bring an old post up but my kids TV has the same picture problem. Also when you change channel or you get text on the screen for a few seconds you can still see it if you change channel or even av input. I have not opened the tv yet but i thought i would ask on here to see if anyone can point me right without having to track it down, Thank you.

Vizio e601i-A3 - Has Sound and Display, But No Backlight - Bad Power Supply Board or Bad LED Bulbs ?by Tynan DillI was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.
Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.
I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.
The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.
With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

by m1ch43lzmHi, this is my personal laptop, which the original board (lets call it Board A) blew up PU8700 (TPS51486), making a hole on the board, i had left the laptop at my desk one day with the battery fully charged and didn't touch it for a week, but when i tried to turn it on it didn't
Thought the battery was dead, so i plugged in the charger then tried to power on, the power LED blinked once, charged LED still orange, unplugged the charger, plugged in again and I noticed the "magic smoke" smell, so i unplugged the charger, removed the back cover and saw the blown IC (the "magic... -

Made a mistake and ordered the wrong TCON board to replace in my KDL-46HX823, the board I ordered was Sony PLY 1-883-893-11 which is sort of correct.
But later realized this board is used in 4 or 5 models, any way the one i got sent was for KDL-55HX820.
Physically these boards are identical, everything on the board is the same. I havent put this board into the TV yet, but am I right in saying all i would have to do is copy the Epprom from my faulty board and transfere it on to the new board, or is there still something else that may stop this working.... -
by howardc64All left and right refers to looking from rear of TV (or looking from front with TV upside down)
- TV came with vertical bars and no image. Found faulty TVS on left buffer board. Also replaced T-Con (may have damaged the original while hot air removing components, board has slight warp) and have full image but few horizontal lines on the screen. Some of the lines appears to be 2 pixel tall while others are 1 pixel tall.
- Disconnecting left and right buffer board potentially reveals problems on both sides with different signals (unless this T-Con require jumper like Samsung FB_TRDY1&3) Fault

by TerraPhantmI have a Sony 65A8H. Always bothered me that it doesn't have HDMI 2.1. I noticed the A80J board appears quite similar. And comparing some wiring diagrams in the service manuals (albeit A9G vs A90J since I couldn't find the A8/80 manuals), things appeared quite similar. And my understanding is the panels between the two TVs are more or less the same.
So I decided I'd experiment a little bit.
I bought an A80J board. Left the speaker connection unplugged because it doesn't fit. Changed the power connector to fit the new board. Plugged in everything else.
