Re: HP LA2306x having shorted diode. Compatible replacement for Diode MBR5200.
Sorry to bring up a old post but i was wondering what the problem was as i have just been given one to play with. The picture is fine on the left hand quarter and the rest of the screen has vertical lines down it, there is no visible damage and i tried the usual pressing round the edge of the screen etc...

Grey/Gray Screen
Hi, A friend of mine has a LG 47 inch 3d smart tv, their son kicked a ball and it hit the tv, The screen did not break but now all it shows is a gray/grey screen, Any ideas ?
I spelled Grey 2 ways because some countries spell it different

Re: Picture 'Hanging' high contrast
I'm assuming you mean the VGAMA points on the top right of the picture.
@Shinju there's hardly anything else to see at the sides so thought i would just get a closer look at the board instead.

Picture 'Hanging' high contrast
Hi, I have a 32 inch Sony LCD and recently the picture has seemed a little too bright on light scenes and a little too dark on dark scenes, Also if a still picture or text has been on the screen for a few seconds then you can still see it if you change channel. I am posting a picture with the fault. I have looked around but can't find much info but i assume it will be there TCON/LVDS board or the panel at fault, any info would be very much appreciated, Thank you.
Ignore the wavy lines, That's just the camera picking them up.

Re: Sony KDL32S3000
Sorry to bring an old post up but my kids TV has the same picture problem. Also when you change channel or you get text on the screen for a few seconds you can still see it if you change channel or even av input. I have not opened the tv yet but i thought i would ask on here to see if anyone can point me right without having to track it down, Thank you.
