Im sure this is simple for most people out there but Im a bit new to this. Looking for help with the attached please.
Simple enough, except a little unsure about the vbus wire up. I can see on 2 of the connectors the 4 wires are joined.... but cant figure out if they go off somewhere . Do.i just join the four points on both conectors and leave. Or do the 4 wires join together on both conectors and then join to each other.

GTX 970.Alternative to 4c05n Mosfet 30v 78a
Im trying to change some mosfets on my dead GTX 970 gpu.
I need the above Mosfets but finding very hard to source apart from Ali Express. Can any one recommend if there is an alternative I can use.

Small Ali express Oled Buck Converter no Power output.
Just learning electronics so hoping someone can give me some help to troubleshoot this little buck convertor. I've attached photos.
I was putting it inside a housing that I had made and unfortunately something shorted and I got the dreaded burning smell. Any way device and screen still turning on and recognising the Voltage input. Unfortunately their is no voltage output and keeps tripping over current protection when I turn on. Obviously something is blown. Could someone guide me where I should start looking for faulty components. Thanks in advance.... -
A1278 820-2879 No 5v on PP5V_S5 only 1.5v
Hoping someone can help me with with troubleshooting this board.
Its an 820-2879 from A1278.
Voltages all good at U7200 except at PP5V_S5 where im only getting 1.5v.
I had a spark while disconnecting cables. Yes stupidly forgot to disconnect battery first.
I could put a new U7200 on but waiting for a new rework station to be delivered.
Anyone like to take a guess if ive a bad u7200 or should I be looking at something else first.

Was having issues with MBP emc2351 display. Corrotion on Pins 3 and 4 of LVDS connector. Unfortunately lost solder pads.

iMac 2014 27inch. No display or output. All 4 diagnostic leds are lit green
Hi. I'm trying to figure out what the issue is with my imac 2014 27 retina. When I turn on the screen goes light black and no chime. There is no output from the back port to hdmi.
I thought at first it might be a gpu issue. But all four diagnostic leds are lit up inside. Was sure if there was an issue with the gpu one of them would be off.
Any help please? -

Lol.... yeah that would be the simple solution and of course if it was that easy for me I wouldnt be asking for help here.

Hi many thanks for your reply.
It's a tcon board off a Sony TV.
I got a replacement board, but the only difference I've noticed is the new board has Edge 1 bridged (with something lol) and the old board has Array bridged.
So I need to bridge Array on the new board, but not sure what to use.... it would appear it must be some sort of sense as it tells the board if an array of leds are used for the lcd or if an edge strip.

Im new to component repair and still learning, so please go easy.
I have attached a photo of a very simple circuit that i need to change, but just had a couple of questions.
My first question is..... As you can see from the photo there is a bridge to the point marked EDGE 1. I need to remove this and instead bridge ARRAY.
The problem is i'm not sure what i should use to bridge and not sure what's being used already with Edge 1.

It's used on 4 or 5 sony models.

bit of a long shot, but here is the challenge lol. Can anyone help with the value of this regulator ic I have circled in the attached picture. Markings cant really be read but what I can read is its marked 50 in the small circle in the middle of the ic. I need to change this component but cant figure out the value and what to change it with.

Still learning so soldering skills not great. I need to replace the following SMD capacitor on a board, but because of size I would rater not use an SMD type.
The capacitor I need to change is 1000nf 50v 2012 x7r smd type.

Oh Man, I have another problem now. I really hope someone can get me back to where I was before.
This board was repaired before I have attached an image of the repair, wasnt done by me.
Any way see the resistor bridge, i stupidly touched the end of it to see if it was making proper connection and if that what was causing the problem. With power on....
Any way see the 2 components I have circled I accidentally touched these together with tip of screwdriver...Leave a comment:

After about 2 minutes of tv switching on the screen image distorted doubled. I disconnected the lcd ribbons one at a time. When got to last ribbon screen was perfect except for the last quarter I plugged out which was obviously blank. When plugged that section in again screen went doubled again. To be honest it was start with changing the least expensive easiest to get part.

Made a mistake and ordered the wrong TCON board to replace in my KDL-46HX823, the board I ordered was Sony PLY 1-883-893-11 which is sort of correct.
But later realized this board is used in 4 or 5 models, any way the one i got sent was for KDL-55HX820.
Physically these boards are identical, everything on the board is the same. I havent put this board into the TV yet, but am I right in saying all i would have to do is copy the Epprom from my faulty board and transfere it on to the new board, or is there still something else that may stop this working....
