Vizio l42hdtv10a older model help needed

HI!I was reading all posts about this tv but the board is different than mine.I have same problem no picture, can not power off,no backlight.Power board seems fine .Voltages measure correct.Main board looks good too i mean no burnt stuff or visible problem .Regulators measure fine as far as i could tell by the comments on other posts.I am not too expert in electronic but i might can fix this with help.I have noticed there are 3 different regulators,as far as the AMC1117 regs measure they look good. That is my board on the pic.

I suggest checking all of the small 3 pin regulators on the Main Board and post part numbers stamped on them, show your voltage readings on each pin, measure DC Voltage and ground negative/black volt meter lead to chassis.

        1117 series LDO from DIGIKEY:

        Adjustable:
        http://www.digikey.com/product-detai...SCT-ND/1967218

        1.5V fixed:
        http://www.digikey.com/product-detai...SCT-ND/2121241

        1.8V fixed:

        2.5V fixed:

        3.3V fixed:

This is the way to figure out if the adjustable regulator is good or not:
Notes: we are looking at the regulator with the Big tab up (the big tab is tied internally to the center pin).
Adjustable regulator will have two resistors attached to it, one resistor (Rfb) is between pin1 and pin2, another resistor (Rg) is between pin1 and ground. Pin3 is an input pin.
The voltage between the Adjust pin (left pin) and the center pin (Pin2, output) will always be 1.25V +/- 2% (this is the precision voltage reference), if it is not, it is bad.
To figure out what the output voltage should be: measure the voltage between pin 1 and ground and add 1.25V to that number, that is the output voltage on pin 2 but you have to make sure you do have 1.25 between pin 1 and 2 as noted above.
See my Voltage calculator spreadsheet here, post #6:

Vizio e601i-A3 - Has Sound and Display, But No Backlight - Bad Power Supply Board or Bad LED Bulbs ?
                by Tynan Dill
I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

                Assuming...

Vizio E552VLE Schematics needed! [no power on]
                by Holes Flow
                Experts,

Like other posters, I cannot get this behemoth to turn on, nor does the Vizio "off light" illuminate. Bought anther power board-no change.

I have no voltages on any of the connectors where voltage levels are indicated. I have voltage on one side of the isolation transformer, and nothing on the other side-on both boards.

Its becoming obvious that the controller board needs power to send a signal back to the power board, but no juice at ALL gets to the control board. REALLY need a schematic...

                trying this way... vBulletin can...

Vizio M65Q7-H1 Red Vertical Strips fixed by tape blocking LC1 signal to half of the panel

                Failure Symptom

No picture, just red vertical stripes. Google search shows quite common problem for these recent Vizio M series although red vertical stripe pattern may differ. Some call it "Netflix" boot screen haha.

                Where is the short?

Panel has 4x buffer boards. Quickly found the 1/4 panel buffer board with the problem by selectively disconnecting buffer board flex cables.

Having recently fixed another Vizio with similar symptoms that was a shorted ESD diode array ( link ) Probed the ESD diode array but...

Vizio SmartCast TV software bug that looks like hardware
                by howardc64
Bug looks like hardware so thought I posted it here. Exact same behavior on 2 different model 4K Vizio TVs running their SmartCast smarttv software. After launching youtube app, press vizio button on remote to return to the smarttv menu, once in awhile, a column of bad pixels will show for few seconds on the left hand side.

It seems the vizio software is reinitializing hardware when returning to the smarttv menu. In general, SmartCast software isn't very good. Also will randomly (relatively infrequent) get no network connection when on wifi and require reboot....
