Well the new inverter board fixed the issue. I'll have to test the old board a bit more to see why it was failing. Just thought I would update my situation. Thanks for everyone's help!
That is good news for the price of the repair, you can do resistance reading comparison first on all the transformers, MOSFET's.
Actually just yesterday I was fiddling around on the inverter board and found a fuse I think I missed the first go around of testing. The fuse is quite possibly broke because I can't get a resistance reading across it. I'm not sure where I will find a replacement for it. It's one of the tiny 6.3amp fuses on the lower end of the board (most likely why only the bottom 4 lamps were not working at all). That would be funny if replacing it fixed the issue.
Do you mean the link to the seller? I got my board from e-bay. It came out of a used TV that had gone bad. Sorry for this posting delay. I quit getting notifications on this thread...
