I am getting sound and backlights so I have ruled out the power supply. All the voltages silkscreened on the boards are correct and 12 volts to the t-con.
As you can tell by the photos the top center seems brighter than the rest of the screen. On video one there is a small thin line running horizontaly and you can see the movie there. On Cable I have snow on the top part of the screen and the lines on the rest. When changing the input mode on the TV you can see it change on the top right of the screen. I read that the t-can can be checked with a scope but it did not say how. I have a 20Mhz and a 100Mhz scope. I would like to know if it's in the main board, the t-con or a bad screen. I did use freeze spray aound the outside edge of the sceen with no change. Tapping on the outside frame of the screen did not change anyhting either. The little ghost picture on the left of the screen is a refelction from the garage window.
