hi i have samsung 32 ln32b360c5d that i bought off craigslist hoping it was bad caps. that was not the case all of the caps look good and all the fuzes are good. i tested the power boards output pins and all tested 0 dc v except three pin4 (e-pwm) pin6 (13v (m)) and pin7 (13v (m)) tested 5 m volts. thank you in advance for all your help.

Re: samsung 32 ln32b360c5d no power no indicator
i retested the power board thinking i should use the ground pin as a ground and when i did that there was 0 v on evey pin. i also tested the three big diodes and they are good.
Can you test a zener diode with a dmm diode test because i am trying to test all of the diodes and one zener diode reads .361v and .193v

Please upload the pictures of all the boards so we can see how they are connected, then good clear pictures of the power supply board both top and bottom.Never stop learning

Re: samsung 32 ln32b360c5d no power no indicator
What DC voltage do you have at the main DC filter CP815, 100uF 500VDC.
This TV has PFC circuits, when the TV is off, you should have about 170Vdc on CP815, when the TV is on, you should have about 400Vdc on CP815.
The standby power supply (always on) is generated by IC UM801S (ICE3BR0665), produces 5V and 13V standby voltages.Never stop learning

Re: samsung 32 ln32b360c5d no power no indicator
Since you have the diagram, do you get the 5V and the 13v standby voltage as I mention in post6?
' i tested the power boards output pins and all tested 0 dc v except three pin4 (e-pwm) pin6 (13v (m)) and pin7 (13v (m)) tested 5 m volts" What is the 5m volts, 5 millivolt (mV), or 5 Volts? same for the 13V.Last edited by budm; 07-30-2012, 06:46 PM.Never stop learning

So the 5V power supply is dead. Your TV looks almost th same as one I am working now with bad screen, I will see if it has the same power supply/inverter combo board.Never stop learning

by GLISITHi all,
TL;DR - this laptop is driving me nuts with the oddball power-related behaviors. Appreciate any insight you can provide!
I'm experiencing a power issue on an Asus Probook P5440UF-XB74. Although I've worked with electronics and computers for decades, this is my first attempt at getting into motherboard-level component troubleshooting. Any help the community can provide is greatly appreciated!

Hi everyone and thanks in advance for any help I might get here
My Samsung TV is about 4 years old. The exact model number is UE75MU7009TXZG.
About half a year ago I started seeing occasional green frames pop up while watching movies. I mean literally green frames. Not the image turning green, but the entire screen turning green for a split second. This happened maybe once or twice during a 2 hour movie. So no big deal, but clearly something was not quite right.
Since a few days, the TV won't turn... -
by Journey11Hi All,
First time posting here ... my name is Kevin but my friends call me Journey.
I have a Samsung 75" LCD model UN75RU8000FXZA that I don't remember the original fault other than it wouldn't power up anymore.
After it sat for many month's I decide to look at it again. The motherboard seemed to have power regulation issues. After much fussing I decided to just get a new MB.
It came a few days ago and I installed it now just cycles the power relay on and off ... when on the backlights light up and then dim and then relay kicks off and the whole things starts again.... -
by cheeky2This Samsung combined power supply and inverter was replaced a while ago from a Samsung 37inch LE37B530P7W TV. However I would like to repair this one.
I have replaced the Mosfets Q1820 and Q1821 ( FDPF7N50U) which were both blown and the fuse FM802S. The schematic for this power supply that is attached doesn't relate to this power supply as the driving transistors and diodes are D1830, D1831, D1832, D1833, Q1811 & Q1810 are nowhere on the schematic!
Does anyone know what the components for D1830, D1831, D1832, D1833, Q1811 & Q1810 should be? I ask as I did change the Mosfets... -
I am trying to repair my Samsung Chromebook Pro. There is no boot. Upon turning on, the screen is blank and there is no backlight. Power LED is blue. I tried refresh with power and esc refresh with power with no avail.
When I measure the 1.2V rail, it is pulsing. It will jump from 0 to 1.2V then 0 again. I replaced the 2 MOSFET and even power management IC and it is the same. Resistance from midpoint between mosfet to ground is 0.5 kOhm but it will show 250 Ohm first before jumping to 0.5 kOhm. So it feels like it was charging up some capacitor. Since MOSFET and IC was replaced, I... - Loading...
