If I am piecing your post together right, you want to know the fuse locations and values on a Dell W1700's Inverter board. You would really like an annotated picture as well. Am I correct?

are they the f1 and f2 fuses near the main plastic molex connector ?

If we could actually see them they probably are.- You're not telling me you can identify them in your pictures if you didnt know where they were!

i have just temporally soldered some 2.5 am fuse wire to the board, magic the screen works

yes my camera is pretty rubbish, i think i may have to sort that soon so i can post better pictures

Good - I am pleased it works - suggest you dont use it again until you
replace the fuses with proper replacements. Oddly enough I dont think we
did anything - you did it all yourself - well done.

now i know its just the fuses i can order them now, thanks for replying though. i can put it on the shelf now until i get the new fuses cheers

i don't seem to be able to adjust the picture quality at all. it seem very green and has no detail on it at all

Get some light on it and the camera will be able to autofocus better. If you can set the camera to manual focus, that will help too.
