If it is POWER LED 2, OPC LED 5, that would represent a Panel 5 volt failure.

Yes, I think you can probably fix the TV.
I have the above error code. How do I repair a Panel 5 volt failure? I have a 37" Aquos that fell off a shelf. I have repalced a broken power board and two CCFL backlights. I checked the backlights before closing up the unit and they were all working.

Will getting a new power supply fix all this or even then I'm lucky if that holds up for a few months?

Its just the light I had on for more lighting, I can't do much better because I'm using my cell phone for the pics (but they should be better...)

If when I connect the TV back up, and Im still getting the same message, is it safe to say I haven't done more damage?

So the OPC and POWER flash twice and they are still doing the same thing, if I were to get a new power board would that get the tv back to working condition, or no there could be more?

Too grainy... looks like flash reflection too.

Best bet is to turn flash off, and get some good natural light - outside often works well....

I am afraid your pictures are not really clear enough for troubleshooting the fo
following is what I normally advise newcomers.
    Welcome to the forum-
We can help a lot more if you please post good clear pictures of the whole chassis, and then pictures of each board, front and back and close up of connectors, (max resolution 2000x2000 and 2MB) using the manage attachments button, which is found by clicking "go advanced" under quick reply.

Please do not post inline and offsite as they slow down the loading of pages.

The power board? I didn't see anything when I had it out.

Wish I hadn't messed with the main board if I had known earlier about the power failure.

Twice power and twice OPC indicates 3.3V power failure.

I would suggest checking all the LDO regulators on the board - if you need help with locating these post back with a picture of your main board (HDMI, tuner etc on it.)

Are there any labels near the connector which goes from the power supply to the main board?

Its the one on the top right (near where the power cable goes in), I have a digital multimeter... but its been a few years since I used it

I did everything I can do, without doing anymore damage then I have already done, I really don't have any other ideas. I put the boards and everything back on and at least nothing is worse off then before lol.

There looks to be two relays on the board - one bottom left and one top right - which one of these clicks?

Do you have a digital multimeter?

I have taken pictures of all the boards, nothing appears to be wrong with any of them from a visual point of view lol...(only the little thermal compound things that I have to put back.)

Here is the address so maybe you guys could take a look and maybe you might see something:

I still am, I was just saying that if I were to hold the CH DOWN and VOL UP then press the Power button I would get a steady power LED on instead of the flashes, but it would be pointless because everything is the same and I couldn't even turn off the tv without unplugging it.
