    vizio v0320e

I have a vizio v0320e when turned on has sound but picture is only at very top that is pink then blue but after 30 min the picture is great the tv is like new. So I let the tv cool down and same thing so I took a hair dryer to the board at the top of the screen and the tv work, so that board is bad but what board is it, and can it be fixed thank you.

If its what i have a red square around then its the tcon (timing & control) board. You can get the number off the board and do an ebay search. The board could in theory be fixed but most just swap the board due to the fact that they are cheap. It all boils down to skill & equipment vs time & cost of replacement. My take on a situation is if you spend 6 months diagnosising a $20 board then its not economical.

I don't think that board can be replaced. Bond ribbons go from it to the screen. Can you post a picture? I think Bud m can chime in on maybe testing some of the surface mount parts with a multimeter on that board.

To get at that particular board the entire screen has to be removed from the cabinet. The the screen has to be placed with the lcd up. Then you have to start disassembling the case of the lcd screen itself.

It sounds like one the cost saving LCD screen that has T-CON built-in LCD panel, just the like what they do on computer monitor. Does it change if you flex the board?

Yep, they made it so you cannot change out the bad T-CON board.

Is it a Chungwha LCD panel? If so, check the ribbon cable going from the top board to the side board.
