      Beko fridge compressor clicking
      by Liam.25
      Hello,

our fridge and freezer stopped cooling last weekend, it’s a Beko fridge.

looking at the bottom, I can hear the relay clicking on the plug attached to the compressor.

There is also a 3uf capacitor, I’m thinking this is a run capacitor, I tested this with my fluke and and it measured at 1.5uf, so I replaced this (new one tested just over 3uf) so that’s where it should be.

I was thinking this was the issue. The compressor seem to run for like a minute then shutoff again.

inside the relay, there is a Klixon 4tm thermistor,...

Resistor with "1:R2" printed on it.....what value should I read?
      by Francesc V.
Has this two dots any meaning? Because there are several and I would say they measure about 11 ohms.........however, my common sense tells me that they should be 1.2 ohms........right?

It's a 1210 SMD resistor, just if it helps.

      Regards,
      Francesc.

Beko Tumble Dryer DTLCE80021W cutting out/tripping RCD
      by spleenharvester
This dryer is several years old and has previously had a new motor cap. Currently it's behaving erratically - sometimes it finishes the cycle fine, other times it cuts out after a random period of time (just stops with no LEDs as if it has finished normally), and occasionally it trips the RCD. There's always steam coming off the clothes at the time it cuts out.

Going to pull it apart tomorrow, before I lob a new heating element at it is there anything else worth checking? It's £70 for a new heating element and the whole machine only cost £180 to begin with...

      Cheers

3d printed electronics bench accessories and equipment
      by clearchris
I know at least some of you have 3d printers. So show us what you have printed.

I'll start this is my latest. Not my design, but happy I have this printed out. My resistors were all in a box, and the strips they were attached to long ago lost their stickiness. So, I sorted them all (ouch) and put them in the drawers. I need to print some labels and attach them, but at least they are in order now.

There are some pretty impressive prints using the same design here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3873672/makes

I opened it and on the board control I found capacitor dead (you can see the dirty on the pcb , resistor broken and the rest of capacitor are low value. I
just wanted to understand if existing the scheme for this controller board. Thank you do much for the answer
