Have a Phillips 47PFL5704D,,,,the top 1 inch or so displays a perfect picture,,,the rest is different shades of grey,,some vertical lines,,,some horizontal lines.....Suspect a bonding issue with the screen,,,did the pressure testing around edges of screen with no distortion...just wondering if any one has seen this problem before I dissassemble this unit,,usually bonding issues that I have seen run the full vertical of the screen and like I said the top 1 inch or so is perfect thankx gbaum

Re: Phillips 47PFL5704D screen 3/4 white
Might want to try a replacement T-con first as they are relatively cheap. Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!

Re: Phillips 47PFL5704D screen 3/4 white
did you remove 1 of the ribbon cables and get the same result that he does? don't you love it when someone starts a thread but then never says whether or not they got it fix or what fixed it? if i was you i would take a shot at replacing the t-con as they aren't that expensive. make sure you replace it with the exact numbers on the board and not just by the tv model cause they may vary.
