I Have come across and Sanyo LCD that has started to fade on the left side of the screen and just a little bit in the middle. Is there a board that can be replaced to fix this, or has the screen itself gone bad?

This sounds like a bad ccfl or an inverter issue. Could you attach some photos of the screen while tv is on and most definitely the boards inside the tv? -

I have not purchased the tv yet. I buy and fix TV's and I have been trying to do research on this to figure out what I might need to do to it before I purchase it, but am unable to find a whole lot about it. I can probably get the guy to send me a picture of the tv on but I doubt he'll take the back off to send me a picture of the boardsComment

Sounds like it could possibly be a bad panel but without pictures it would be hard to be sure.Comment
