Re: Sharp Lc37sb24u Power problems
Also as far as the lights go on the front of the tv this is what I get:
When I plug it in power light blinks green once a second
Hold down power button 5-10 seconds power light turns red
Push power button again power light and opc light solid green
picture turns on 3-5 seconds then goes out along with opc light (can still see picture with flashlight)
Power light stays solid green for additional 3-5 seconds then goes back to blinking once a second (picture unable to be seen at all)

Sharp Lc37sb24u Power problems
I am currently working on a Sharp Lc37sb24u. I was originally thinking it had a bad inverter board but now I am not so sure. When I turn the tv on the picture comes up with audio for about 2 seconds the picture then goes out while audio is still working (picture can still be seen with a flash light pointed at the screen). The TV then clicks again and the audio goes out and the power light will blink about once a second. I originally thought the inverter board because that usually is what is wrong in the LCDs when the picture goes out but audio remains. But with the power going out completely I...

Re: Mitsubishi PD-4225
Here are some additional pictures of the Y-sus board. Does anyone have input whether my thinking is right along the lines of the y-sus board being bad? If so how can I go about testing it with a multimeter?...

Re: No Picture or Audio on Insignia NS-LCD26A
Here are a few of the TV I didnt take everything out to get down to take a picture of the t-con or the inverter. But once I got the back off I realized how much dust and crap is in the back of the TV so could it possibly be a bad power board that over heated because lack of proper ventilation?...

Thinking of buying lg du-42py10x
this guy says that there are stripes all on the left side of the TV and my research tells me that this is a pretty common problem but no one seems to say what it is that needs replaced. I want to have at least a decent working knowledge of what may be wrong with the TV before I spend the money on it. I'm thinking either the y-sus or z-sus but any suggestions would help. Thanks!!...

Mitsubishi PD-4225
I have a Mitsubishi PD-4225 that I am trying to repair. There is no picture but it has audio. The Y top and bottom scan boards have been replaced and the Z-sus board has been replaced by the guy I purchased it from but he gave up because he didn't want to put anymore money into the TV. All I really have to test boards is a multimeter and am not sure how to test the Y-sus board. I do believe it is the y-sus board but I want to be certain before I pay $150 for the board. Any help would be great!!...

No Picture or Audio on Insignia NS-LCD26A
I have come across an Insignia NS-LCD26A and have tried to do research on it but its kind of hard to find any information on it. When I turn the TV on the power light comes on but no audio or picture whatsoever. Any ideas what board needs replaced? On LCDs I usually think inverter because most of the time there is audio but since this has no audio or picture can it be the power board? Any help would be awesome! If needed I can take pictures of the inside of the TV

Re: Fading on Sanyo DP46848
I have not purchased the tv yet. I buy and fix TV's and I have been trying to do research on this to figure out what I might need to do to it before I purchase it, but am unable to find a whole lot about it. I can probably get the guy to send me a picture of the tv on but I doubt he'll take the back off to send me a picture of the boards

Fading on Sanyo DP46848
I Have come across and Sanyo LCD that has started to fade on the left side of the screen and just a little bit in the middle. Is there a board that can be replaced to fix this, or has the screen itself gone bad?
