bad power supply voltage and slow motion image?

Hello i have a samsung lcd tv thta is like in slow motion and im wondering if it can be the voltage of the power supply that is too high on sime lines and too low on one that make this ?

i suspect the power supply sonce all caps are capXon but none are visualy bad. I need to get a ESR reader soon!

    thx for looking!

From what ive seen in the past its not impossible that caps cause that kind of failure. Not sure about tvs but ive seen a few routers where the cpu have worked but been in slowmotion due to not stable enough power.

Probably someone else on the board could say more for sure if its possible for tvs.

Does the "slow motion" leave a trail behind the moving object? Does it have a red or green tint? If so, you probably have a defective panel. I've had two with the above symptoms and it was the LCD itself.

Power supply Termaltake Smart Se 630w any voltage in output
          by labello
Hello everybody I try to fix thi power supply, I have voltage in bridge rectifier, and also in the large capacitor , so I thought the problem was in the pfc but then I found all mosfet ok(tested out of the circuit so I just moved on in the low voltage and here I found a short of one of the diode rectifier. I'll replaced it already but it's completely dead, I mean any stanby voltage and the other voltage is not present. I don't have oscilloscope to understand if the chip work how can I test it? Thank you for the help 🙏

Game Gear Power Supply 2110K No Output Voltage for 1 pin
          by AhhAhhAhh
          Hi all,

I'm working on reviving a Game Gear Power Supply that has some issues with the voltage output for one of the pins. The power supply should provide the correct voltages for each pin (please see attached photo) and I could not get 34V for the last pin. In fact, I got like 0.4 to 0 volts when measured with a multimeter when it powers on.

What I did so far was to change the 3 electrolytic capacitors and have also tested using an ESR meter and all 3 capacitors are fine. Next I checkED for any shorts and I discovered that both solder joints (+) and (-) for one capacitor...

Asrock b250 gaming k4 no voltage igpu but still display image
          by julianmustofa
          Hi all..
Been troubleshooting motherboard. And what i found so far is igpu doesnt have voltage at all.
But it still display image until OS and then it randomly shutdown like it was cut power from psu.
This random shutdown even happen when using dedicated gpu.
          My question is
why it can displaying image from igpu when the igpu rails doesnt have voltage at all? It still possible?

          I provided the boardview
          The net name is GT_CPU
          Thanks before...

          A variable voltage/current 48V@10A switching power supply using a TL494CN ic chip
          by sam_sam_sam
I decided to do a write up about this switching power supply because of the use of this regular ic chip

Which I have seen some computer switching power supplies use this ic chip before I wondering if a circuit board of this layout could be used to modify a computer switching power supply using this ic chip...

L4973V5.1 Power supply giving too much output voltage
          by dicky96
          Hi guys
This power supply is from an FM Radio transmitter

It takes an input of 28V and should output some lower voltage. When I first looked at it I found that there is a zener diode D3 directly across the V out to ground and it was short circuit.

I removed the Zener, there are no markings to determine it's correct value, and I don't know what Wattage it should be either, plus it broke in half. I took a photo comparing it to a 1N914 signal diode and a smaller zener which I have (which I think are 0.5W but I am not sure) and also a resistor so maybe someone can...
