    TV LCD Vizio won't turn On

    Hello there,I Have a Vizio LVD TV 42FL10AV that dont't turn on,vizio logo stay orange and if i press power it doesn't change to white,PS_on is 0 volts.I have 5 volts in PS ,no 12 volts and 24 volts..attache some pic of the main board and PS.any help will be apreciate...Many thanks on advance

      First, just a quick suggestion. One of the things that may help you before you go too far is a little research. There are a lot of threads that are for Vizio TV's with similar problems. If you search just for "Vizio" you will get a lot to search through, a wealth of knowledge. If you still cant find what you're looking for then post pictures here of the power board front and back. When posting pictures please use the "Manage Attatchments" on the posting page.

          Found some caps blown out at the inverter,,changed but still have no back light,,guess I have to change the both boards :S

              These inverters have a history of problems. Check the four FETs to the right of the caps you replaced.

                  If you measure resistance across those FET's, you should read about 8.5K. Post what you got for your measurements.

                          However, The Ark made the great flood intact, and the Titanic sunk in to parts, after coliding with an ice cube...seem to me that the professional were those that built the ArK under Noe's watch.

                              Hi All,

                              I am having an issue with my Vizio M65-C1 where it does not turn on. When I plug it in the stand by light on bottom left of screen turns on (white) then fades away. If I press the power button it turn back on and then fades until it is super dim.

                              When I remove cover, there are no illuminated leds on the main board, I've seen others with a red/blue led that turns on.

                              I've done some research and what is interesting is my voltages all seem slightly different from other people. For example +5/3.5v is 3.48V when on which is different from others on here....

                              I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

                              Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

                              I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

                              The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

                              With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

                              Hello, i have some issues with my laptop Lenovo Y700-17ISK (motherboard BY511 NM-A541), it started when i turn on the laptop, but the lcd wont turn on, i then connected it via hdmi to tv and screen was ok. So i thought maybe lcd stripe is faulty, i removed the bottom cover, disconnected main battery, reset the cmos by disconnecting battery for 1 min, then slighty move the lcd stripe.
