Sony XBR-55X800E

Tv turns on the about 10 secs later shuts off . I turn it on again and it shuts off .
Unplug it for awhile turn it on again 10 secs later it shuts off .

I've heard different things on this tv some say it needs a new main board others say it has a software issue .

Anyone have any thoughts or suggestions on this ?

Need more detail. Is this Android tv? Does it show like Android logo then shut off. Software is stored on main board. So itd be the same thing, could be power related.

Have you tried factory reset also? Volume down and power, hold. (Check Google if works for your TV)
