    Tab Bond repair Philips TV

    Hello guys

I have a philips TV where we accidently managed to damange one of the tab bond from the panel.
Maybe not the best picture but one part of the ribbon have come loose.
As far as I understand those ribbons are attached with special glue but since the majority of the ribbon still is attached I wonder if it is possible to solve the issue by myself or shoufl I judge this as a scrapped panel.
The TV is only 4 year old and I was fixing another problem in the TV when I accidently damanage this connection.

When reading the forum I think some guys have managed to fix similar problem but I do not find any guide how

Anyone which could give me some advise

      Hello, thanks.

Since I never have one this, could you maybe link to aliexpress which product I need.
I suppose I will then find some guides at youttube exacty how to perform the job..

If I understodd correctly I need this rubber head for my solidering iron and this special tape. I guess the hardest part will be to attached it on exactly the correct position.

      Sorry for maybe stupid questions
I tried to search in the forum but didnt find any good post to ready about this..

ACF type for COF bonding are easy to search , i would never play advertised to any of Chinese seller as i missed the trust on them long time ago.

about rubber heating head.. i wrote DIY its mean you can use depending on your ability and fantasy any type of heating method which don't mild the ribbon surface when you apply the heating even if it was infrared wave

Sorry. I didnt menat you should recommend any seller.
More for me to understand the difference since I found different marking of the tape

          Some examples

          New Date ACF AC-7206U-18 TAPE
          New Date ACF AC-7246LU-18 TAPE
          New Date ACF AC-4713SY-18 TAPE

          etc

For the head I found something like this which cost just i few €.

2pcs/Set Soldering Iron T Tip T-head,Copper T-Tips + Rubber Cable Hot Press For LCD Screen Pixel Flex Cable Repair 30W 60W 40W

Do I need to completly have to disconnect the the damaged cable, or will it be enought/possible disconnect on the "broken" side, clean, add tape , and heat under presssure ?

Philips 8200 series 65PUS8204/12 stuck at Philips Logo, it does not reboot it just stays on the logo.

It does power up when pressing the power button.

I already try the power button while plugin the plug with no result.
Also put the latest firmware autorun-TPM191E_R.001.004.100.000.upg on a MBR/FAT32 USB stick at USB port2 with no result either.

Could this be an PSU or eMMC issue ?

                    Quick question about the ribbon
                    by Rubenlily
                    Hey,

So I have horizontal lines on my TV and I'm trying to trouble shoot. My question about the ribbon is:

When I disconnect one ribbon from the t-con I should get half picture working and other half black or something like that correct? But when I disconnect the ribbon on one side I just get a dark screen and it doesn't matter what side I disconnect. I just get the dark screen. No half working, no one half black and the other one left. Sound is playing from the TV so it's obviously on and when both sides are connected I have the picture with the horizontal lines...

T-con suspect issue. Both ribbon cables no picture. One ribbon cable ok. (58pus8545)
                    by Tr0ll
Hi guys! I realized you have a lot of knowledge here so i am hoping you could point me in right direction with my odd issue.

The Tv is a Philips 58PUS8545/12, it had no picture but working backlights.

                    Original T-con:
Opened the Tv and tested to unplug one ribbon cable at a time. With this test i could see that i got fine picture on both halves as long as there was only one ribbon cable connected, with two connected picture were gone.

                    First replacement T-con:

I thought it might be t-con and ordered new t-con from china(supposedly tested)...

Philips 43PUS7506/12 - Loud blown out sound
                    by aidanmo
                    Hello,

I've got a really strange issue with the speakers on my Philips 43PUS7506/12. It makes this awful loud buzzing now. It happened after it was attempted to be wall mounted - I think the back got squeezed and something broke.
I thought maybe the speakers got damaged, so I replaced them - no dice.
                    • Using the internal speakers, it always happens.
                    • Using the headphone jack, it never happens.
                    • Using the digital/optical out with a soundbar - it happens after about 2h/movie runtime - it's never as drastic, it just pops in and out, but I didn't want it to damage the sound bar
                    ...

UN70NU6900FXZA Won't Boot Unless I Temporarily Disconnect Right LVDS Ribbon
                    by Scincidae
I recently was given a UN70NU6900FXZA that would only boot loop once plugged in (auto powers on when plugged in). I found that disconnecting the lower (right side) LVDS ribbon, then plugging the TV in, followed by reconnecting the lower LVDS ribbon will allow the TV to work 100% normal as far as I can tell (no lines, no discoloration, no dimming or anything like that).

I tried the tape method on the lower LVDS ribbon and found that if I cover pins 10 and 11 (counting from the bottom up) allows the TV to boot normal but 25% screen all the way to the right side is discolored. While...
