Vestel 17MB230 and panel VES400UNDS-2D-N11

Hi,

First, sorry for my bad English.

I have installed this board in my TV and has a VES400UNDS-2D-N11 panel.

The tv turn on the panel but don't show anything.I can't access in the service menu.

Is it possible to fix it?

My old remote control works on a Vestel 17MB97.Should it work on this one too? Turn on the tv,but since there is no image I don't know if it does something else.

What’s the 23 number it will be on a white label on the ci slot or on the edge of the board at the top being furthest away from the aerial socket

It's not that, there should be such a tag with the number 23xxxx, on the other hand it is not there?

All newer Vestel boards have the model numbers etched into the edge as pictured by images shown, together with the serial number as well. The model number of this board I cannot find any details for.
So I would ask to the OP (original poster) what was the original mainboard in the TV (with pictures of the label) and what was the make and model of it? You cannot put any old main board in a Vestel TV and expect it to work.
As you may have found this out with this already with the board you have replaced! Each board is tailored to the screen, the side control buttons if any, the remote control codes and any peripherals like wireless cards dvds players etc. So you cannot put any same main board from the same range and expect it to work!

It won’t work it’s from a completely different to set
You need a 17mb97 (type) mainboard you need to match the 23 number on you original mainboard, the one you have in the pictures is a 17mb230 and probably 4k,
Use eBay search for 17mb97 then the 23 number, also cross reference with the original tv model number!

It won't work it's from a completely different to set
You need a 17mb97 (type) mainboard you need to match the 23 number on you original mainboard, the one you have in the pictures is a 17mb230 and probably 4k,
Use eBay search for 17mb97 then the 23 number, also cross reference with the original tv model number!

Hi there, the 23 number needs to match exactly otherwise you could ruin the screen
They use all different screen panels for the same model numbers….

I don't understand. There are two stickers with the 23 number. The board was for this TV:

Telefunken Supra 42E.

-White Tag 23309114
Yellow Tag 23309116

I can't give more information, sorry.

Here in the uk there’s nothing showing up, the we number on the white label is the one to go by, 23309114, have a look on eBay in Spain for the board under the 17mb97 and the 23309114, failing that go for the model of tv, last screen number you may get a board for that screen just make sure all connections are the same including screen connector, but be warned the remote may not work with the different board….

Put the number 23301677 into your eBay over there and see what panel it’s for going by the screen number on the first post it’s a Samsung screen VES400UND(S)-2D-N11 (S) means Samsung
