guess what?

^- just the usual puking fuhkyoos.. with 2 well-baked 35mm height Teapo SC 16V 3300uF (10/2004 datecode) standing next to them...

^- hard to see, but that one right in front of the fan is bulging a bit
anyhow.. i tried to get all cap values to order new pannys or whatever i could squeeze in there that should
last a while.. and i noticed the primary caps.. fuhkyoo of course
hmmm... that doesn't look right..
sure enough..
one of them is *very* light, but not leaking at the top.. the other one is noticably heavier, but the innards are flopping around loosely when you shake it..
now here's the problem i'm having..
there's a piggy-back PCB above those 2 caps which seems to be the active pfc.. connects to where the rectifier would be (and is) on the other threads/pics i found..
i've got (at the very best) 32mm height.. and that would probably already touch the top PCB.
i can't find any fitting caps anywhere
searched for hours and all of them were either waaay too tall or too low capacitance (330uF instead of 680uF).
i keep thinking that those 680uF caps in the pics above really are just 330uF's or something.. just like the bogus 4700uF 10mm fuhkyoos..
(which were measured 3100uF new & unused by someone on here.. forgot who it was.. sry)
original craps are 30mm height & 25mm dia
200V "680"uF
any suggestions what to do?
- put 2x 330uF's in
- ditch the APFC board and put waaay higher rated caps in
- [???]
using tiny 330uF caps in that 550W PSU.. idk... don't really feel comfy with that.. :|
