Re: icute psu
UL certification on the label, but no UL number, that makes it a little suspicious.
It apparently does have APFC by the voltage input. Already miles ahead most crap brands, but its quality is unknown. The finish and fan grill looks suspiciously like my HEC Zephyr.
How much did it cost? -
Re: icute psu
Probably you have 700 Watt (peak) that just what I can take for a millisecond before it blows up.
In any case I wouldn't trust the ratings without a look inside. A forged UL listing doesn't earn any of my confidence on how accurate the label is.Elements of the past and the future combining to make something not quite as good as either.Comment

by HondamanRecently I discovered my SSD died (OCZ/Toshiba 240 GB). It was in a USB enclosure, attached to the Linksys WRT-AC1200 router. Since then I removed the USB enclosure and attached it to my Win7 PC (AMD 8150 CPU, 970 chipset, 64 GB RAM). I also gathered one or two other USB enclosures to figure out what is going on.
(I suspect that I lost quite a few MP3 and FLAC files I recently ripped from my audio CDs, I think I lost very little un-replaceable stuff.)
I think it is IMPOSSIBLE for Win7 to have any problems with a USB enclosure as long as Win7 knows how to speak to the...-

by clabrNeed help to solve some problems with this laptop.
After working in bed with it one night and heating up too much (probably the cause of this problems) the sata HDD OS windows froze
After restart the original Sata HDD was not recognized anymore (but works fine in other laptops or PCs)
Tried connecting other good Sata 2.5 HDDs but not one is working in this laptop anymore (not the original nor others)
Before this had happened I observed some other problems:
When I tried replacing original mecanical HDD with a SSD HDD could not get them... -
by rumpumpel1I have a Lenovo X13-Yoga Gen 1 that has problems with hibernation mode. When the laptop goes to hibernation mode - either via the start menu or after a time-out - after a short period of activity where the power-on LED flashes, the power consumption should go down to almost 0 and the LED should go out. Most of the time, however, the power consumption indicates further CPU activity and the power LED remains on, but there is no image. Sometimes the CPU activity stops after a few minutes, sometimes not at all. If the laptop enters this state, it can only be brought back to life by a long press on...11-03-2024, 12:31 AM

by howardc64Failure Symptom
No Display. Just random blocks of grouped vertical red lines.
Disconnect right 1/2 panel (rear view), left 1/2 displays properly
Masking T-Con Signal Diagnostic
Reduced masking to 5 signals on right 1/2 panel and get perfect picture
Pins are
1 GND
2 VGHD
3 XON
4 VSSQ
5 LC2
6 LC1
VGHD and LC1 masking is absolutely necessary to get working panel. Didn't unmask 3-5 individually.
Pictures and Schematic
XON, LC2, LC1 are on AUO s302-21 32pin QFN... - Loading...
