i need a better power supply

my psu is out of spec. i need at least a 350w to run my new gpu.

any of these look ok? im looking for something that is not a POS doomed to die.

i am looking to spend no more than 35 bux and dont want a deer-ish POS to kick around. i am powering an amd athlon xp system.

The HEC is a already overrated 300W. Those lower end fsp's are okish.

Enlight psu's are rebranded deltas. I have the 400W delta version of it, it is not the best delta, but is still pretty good.

Startech's are ATNG. They are decent, just a bad choice of caps usually.

Well the FSP at least isn't a POS like a Deer or Powmax power supply, and would be able to deliver its rated wattage without any problems. FSP is a good brand of computer power supplies.

If ratdude747 had a slightly higher budget then he'd be able to find slightly better power supplies.

FSP's have gotten worse over time. They have many ripple problems and have a questionable choice of caps as well as keeping their cool.

I would recommend the enlight or the delta scenic linked to from a earlier post. The delta 400W is definitely a good one though.

If I were him I'd take my chances, save a little money, and buy an Allied (Deer brand) power supply: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817154013

Then recap it and hope it works well. It has a ball bearing fan, that can't be so bad. Also, it says "Upgraded from AL-A400ATX" on its label, that should mean it has somewhat more components than a regular Allied/Deer power supplies, doesn't it?

One of those recapped should power an Athlon XP computer with no problems, it does claim to be "upgraded" from the base model.

My favorite power supplies for lower-end or older computers are actually Deer/L&C/Allied power supplies, after a recap.
