Re: Power supply build quality pictorial. part 2
Here's a big one:
SilverStone ZM1200M (Impervio IPS-1200EP)
PFC board:
390uF 450V x2 Hitachi HU primary side units.
1000uF 16V Chemi-Con KY x2 before +5VSB inductor with 1000uF 16V Chemi-Con after it.
20N60C3 x2 (two parallel sets) for interleaved PFC stage.
STTH15R06D x2 rectifiers for PFC stage.
20A 600V bridge rectifier at AC input.
TOP243Y switching regulator for +5VSB stage.
MBR10100CT rectifier for +5VSB stage.
Delta IEC AC input filter.
PWM board:
2200uF 25V Chemi-Con KZE x6 at +12V output with 1000uF 25V Chemi-Con KY near end of 12V rails.
270uF 16V Chemi-Con polymer units at the input (after inductor) and output of the +3.3V and +5V synchronous switching regulator modules, each having an L6712 IC.
Both modules have 47uF 25V x4 tantalum units at input and 330uF 10V x4 tantalum units at output.
1000uF 25V Chemi-Con KY before inductors connected to +3.3V and +5V regulator modules.
1000uF 16V Chemi-Con KY at +5VSB output.
220uF 35V Chemi-Con KY at -12V regulator input with 100uF 25V Chemi-Con KY after it.
10uF 450V Chemi-Con CLA unit before full-bridge converter.
UCC3895 PWM controller.
PS232S output monitor.
IRFB4410 x8 used as synchronous rectifier for +12V rail.
20N60C3 x4 configured as a full-bridge converter.
Both boards: All other electrolytics are Chemi-Con KY Series - no poor quality electrolytics anywhere.

but not the ball bearing dying kind of sound. As far as I can tell there is no fan controlling sensor on any of the heatsinks so it must just run at full speed all the time.
