Re: Antec TruePower 430 recap need help
Nah, I meant the new ones that won't fit in the 10mm spots.
Also considered mounting them on the other side of the PC board and drilling clearance holes in the PSU's case. - Problem is PSU would have to have a bunch of clearance over it when mounted in the PC case.
Fuhjyyu TM Series and TN Series have quite different ratings.
- Yet I've seen them used interchangeably in some power supplies.
Regardless their charts don't make much sense.
Within a *Series*, ESR changes primarily with can size.
- uF and volts has nothing much to do with it.
- In a *Series* the materials and electrolyte should all be the same and so the only things changing that should affect ESR are the physical dimensions.
-
Look at about any major brand's chart. Picking two can sizes look at the ESR.
For example look at the 8x20mm and then all the 10x20mm.
- See what I mean? All of either size are the same (or nearly)
uF and volts doesn't matter much. Can size does.
-
Fuhjyyu's numbers are all over the place (as they are in many el'cheapo brands) an don't follow the can sizes hardly at all. That gives me very low confidence that the numbers are correct to begin with.
Some Fuhjyyu have an "R" after the TM or TN but I don't think that means anything significant in so far as specs.
