      Does it even get power? Fuse OK? Do you get voltage on the big input cap when you plug it in? Be EXTREMELY carefull not to short anything and electrocute yourself.
      Less jewellery, more gold into electrotech industry! Half of the computer problems is caused by bad contacts

          Yes there is about 125 volts on the big cap.

            Sorry - that voltage is down to earth.

            There is 325 V DC across the cap itself.

              Yes that would be about OK. So the problem is in the stand-by circuit alone.
