What is the output diode you are using?

Diode = FR302 on frequency 921Hz, Vo = 216V and RL=7K..

fr302 = 100 reverse blocking voltage.
you need FR304 at least.

what happen if reverse blocking voltage is smaller than Vo ? will it reduce the output voltage ?

1N5822 40v not good enough
FR107 1000v good up to 1000v will work for your application.

Wasted power as it goes backwards through diode.

so if the output voltage is larger than diode breakdown voltage, it will reverse backward through diode...I see

Nearly the same result with FR107 ...216V at RL = 7K

I'm thinking obtaining 330uH or 470uH inductor in one piece, since I'm using multiple inductors in series now, a lot flux loss down the wire, reducing efficiency a lot..

what are you supplying this with

if you use 330uf inductor use 15khz oscillator.

I'm using 12V ATX power supply...the output is 11.4V
I put fuse for protection...

the power supply you are using maybe 5v regulated and will need a load on the 5v rail to provide good voltage and current on the 12v rail.

do you mean I need to put 10 ohm 10W on 5V rail to get a good voltage and current on 12V rail ? I have 10 ohm 10W, I'll put it later on ..

Thanks for the chip link, but that would be another month to wait, I'll buy it later on, but I'm interested to find a way to increase amperage for 555, this is what I have on my hand..

There are only two explanations for that.

1) The mail in Australia is using actual snails for delivery - highly unlikely

OR

2) The location in your profile is... incorrect (i was tempted to say BS at first).

I don't want to think of a third possibility. Or actually, the "nicer" third possibility would be that you didn't even READ what i wrote in that post.

I'm quite sure you didn't even click on that first result - the seller seems to be based in Croydon, Victoria.

Are you trying to tell me a small envelope with 10 chips takes a whole friggin month to travel from Victoria to Western Australia? Or you really can't spare 5-6$?
