    Corsair TX750

    Hi Guys,
I need advise, i got TX750v1 yesterday, from previous owner he said this PSU kill soundcard's mobo and make his HDD error.
So i need your help what part can cause the problem, where to start check?

    Check voltage:
    5Vsb : 5.1
    +5V : 5.13-5.14
    +12 : 12.12
    +3.3 : 3.41
    -12V : -12.2
    PG :5.1

    Thx.

    Update,
After checking there are no budging Capacitor,
which part (rail) usually causes this problems.
    thanks.

look for bad / cracked soldering - specially around any optoisolators.

I don't think this PSU is what killed a hard disk or an integrated sound card (most sound cards are wrongly driven by unqualified persons or shocked by faulty Audio inputs) . Customers in most cases report erroneous conclusions . Maybe better test it for some time on another unit and see what will come up ..

I have experienced, psu can cause dead mobo's sound card (replacement 3x within the warranty period ). And problem resolved after changing the PSU.

Do you mean an integrated sound card (that mean they changed the mainboard 3 times ) was replaced 3 times under warranty ? , or your're talking about 3 pci express audio cards ?

I think the company seller whoever it is didn't give the right diagnosis or what was the real problem . No integrated sound card can be affected by a PSU due to many protections on the board itself . Lot of electronic components could fry , life fuses , diodes and even mosfets before an abnormal voltage reach the Audio circuit , assuming the board is new and warranty .
Two options here , either a faulty Audio input from the customer or the seller didn't report the real problem (maybe they don't feel obliged to) , but the PSU has nothing to do in all this .

                  hi all,
Update after take a break :
it's seems the problem at 3.3v rail, the rail become 5.3 v for 6-8 second and then get normal 3.4 volt without load.
which part/component i must checked. Already checked Capacitor output (12v, 5v, 3,3v rails) and in good condition capacity and esr.
                  thx

                    Check the 3.3v rectifier
