    Seasonic S12-II 500w...

With what appears to be a Fuhjyyu primary cap!

My question is, are there any other capacitor manufacturers that have a symbol that looks like the goofy Fuhjyyu symbol? This cap had a symbol that looks almost exactly like the Fuhjyyu symbol but it did not say Fuhjyyu on it anywhere. Maybe I'm just being here, but I couldn't identify it beyond what the symbol looked like.

Now I know why they didn't want me opening the unit!

I hate to open it up again to take pictures, but this irritates me. The first time I was *very* careful with the label they put over one of the screws.

Primary caps don't fail often, not even Fuhjyyus, Luxons and 'Saturns'. The only reason that people replace them is to put in a higher value to improve primary side rail regulation and resistance to brownouts. You can safely leave it unchanged.

I think you are looking at a Hitachi on the primary..lol. There is no need to worry. Top end units prefer NCC, Hitachi, Matsushita or Rubycon on the Primary side.

105*C for a primary cap when others sneak away with 85*C caps. Nice!

That was a Zippy, they don't pull any punches when it comes to components.
