What B-E junction? It's gone!
Same for the B-C junction too - in fact the diode test function shows an open circuit on all pins in both directions.
Looks like that TIP32 is dead.
But if there is no base current, where did that 3.53v I got on the +5v rail come from I wonder? Perhaps the TIP32 is also leaky between E-C?
I tried powering up without the TIP32, no voltage on +5v at all so I don't think that diode is leaky, anyway.
It seems weird though that it only died after I put that 15 Ohm resistor on as a load, but then the toasted 33 Ohm resistor already hinted at damage somewhere, so...
