I did not fire up my unit yet since i noticed some nearly burnt pcb trace. Thanks Budm for the info..i ordered the IC and will be posting some updates later.

I had the click of death issue with my Samsung as well. Tv turned on but clicked off. Slow got worse over a few months.
Took the back of the TV and pulled the power board and didn't notice any bad caps. The board was a BN44-00428B so I did some googling and stumbled
upon 737mechanic post. Turns out it was the same TM801S solder joint that needed more solder. Added solder and the TV turned on with no more clicks, unbelievable!
Kids think I'm a genius lol.. Thanks 737mechanic!!!

Re: Samsung / Hansol BN44-00428b
Hi folks.....
My first post.....
I also have a Samsung UN55D6400UFXZA. I have the blink problem. My power supply is PD55B2_BHS, BN44-00428B. I found this repair kit on ebay for $12.95 and free shipping:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Samsung-BN4...72.m2749.l2649
The kit arrived but no directions. The seller said the part number on each item was the location on the power supply board. Looking at the power supply board I can see that. I have found most of the locations but for one. I have a cap called CM811. I have spent an hour going over the board (front and back) and can not find the location of a cap called CM811. I wonder if I have a newer or older version of this power supply board that is different than the kit I bought?
I can go ahead and install the rest of the parts. And, thanks to this forum, I will check for that cold solder joint. Any thoughts on if I need to install this cap and where?
Printed out the schematic that was posted and going over it again.
Thanks in advance,
jack

Samsung BN44-00428b -revision 3 power supply?
Folks...
Update on my kit and power supply. See my post above this one.
Most of the stuff in the kit do not have a place on my power supply. Could it be that the revision number of my power supply is not matching up with the kit I bought?
I have no capacitor called CM811. I have no ICM801S. Nothing even close. The kit had two ICs called QP801,802. I have nothing like that. However I have two ICs at location JP862 called DM851 and DM852.
The only correct things in the kit are two ICs (ICS801S and ICP801S) and the three fuses.
I have enclosed three photos of my board. I bought the correct kit for the Samsung TV part number and the correct power supply part number. But maybe the kit is old. I have revision 3 of the power supply. Maybe that is the issue?
Could that be it? Should I check for cold solder joints, install the two ICs and 3 fuses and see what happens?
Thanks in advance,
jack

Re: Samsung / Hansol BN44-00428b
CM811 is next to the diode DM801, designator of CM811 is covered by the white glue.
ICM801S designator is also covered up by the white glue.
QPxx are also covered up by the white glue.
The question is what is the problem with the power supply board? What Voltages do you have and not have on the power supply connector that goes to the main board? I would not install the kit until you find what section of the power not working otherwise you can create new problem due to improper repair works..
"I have the blink problem." What does that really mean?

Re: Samsung / Hansol BN44-00428b
Hi All,
Tv model:ue55d7000. Has power supply BN44-00428b. Intially problem started with restarts in between. But later got worse with automatically switching on/off before staying on for more than a hour. Last week it indefinitely went in boot loop.
Took the back cover off. Smart logo keeps appearing on on/off. Backlight flashes 95% of the times.
Weird thing is when I hold TV at an angle to the floor, it starts normally but goes in boot loop if i change the angle. So thinking some connection issue rather than a problem with power supply or main board.
I can see a cracked solder near the transformer TM801s. Is there any way i can confirm this solder is the not making proper contact or cracked solder is the problem?
Appreciate your help. Very useful thread.
Thanks.

Re: Samsung / Hansol BN44-00428b
Whwn i measured voltage for TM801s as shown in picture(with blue arrows) it is reaching 1700 to 1800v(flutuates lot as it is clicking) and going back to 0 as it clicks. Not sure if it is the desired voltage. Pls let me know if it is desired.
Power supply clicks only when main board(cnm801) is connected (even without led pins(cnl801a and cnl801b) connected).Last edited by r_arun_03; 11-16-2019, 04:18 PM.

Re: Samsung / Hansol BN44-00428b
In ON/OFF mode
cnm801 pins to main board
pin
1 - 1.9
2 - 2v on clicking on/off .8v when tv working when kept in an angle
3 - 3.2
4- 2v on clicking on/off .8v when tv working when kept in an angle
5 - 0
6- 2v on clicking on/off .8v when tv working when kept in an angle
7 - 12.8
8- 2v on clicking on/off .8v when tv working when kept in an angle
9 -12.8
10 -12.8
11-18
12- 1.3 to 3v when clicking. 4.6v when tv working
13-18
14-0
15-18
16-0
17-5.3
18-5.3
19-5.3
20-3.2
21-nc
22-nc
It looks like there might be a problem with pin 12 (BLU_on/off). When tv working it reads 4.6v but on clicking it reads from 1v to 3v. Any help on whet BLU_on/off means is really appreciated.
Still feel there is problem with a connection/solder as the tv works when hold in an angle. Attached powersupply BN44-00428B manual in which pin details available in page 13

Went through this link https://tvrepairdepot.com/samsung-d7...oubleshooting/ to understand how power display works.

Re: Samsung / Hansol BN44-00428b
After removing the main board connection to power supply and tried connecting A5v to PWM_dim1, PWM_dim2, PWM_dim3 and PWM_dim4 in cnm801 one by one. Except PWM_DIM1(top most back light LED strip) all other back light strips worked.
Then checked voltage on all pins(R1+/-, R2+/-, L2+/- and L1+/-) for PWM_DIM1. Only L1- (pin7 in CNL801A) read 0V. So it looks like problem could be open/short circuit in top most back light LED strip.
As tv works fine when tv is hold at an angle i assume that LED is fine, just there could be short circuit because of dust. But looks like anyway i have to open the panelbefore that will give a try with a vaccum

Re: Samsung / Hansol BN44-00428b
Yes, you do have open circuit in one of the LED string, it can be as simple as bad connection on the the connector that links the LED strips together.Never stop learning

Re: Samsung / Hansol BN44-00428b
Last LED had bad connection. I can't remove the led strip as screws were small and tight. i can't risk damaging the screws again and drill it. So just added more more solder. it was tricky as space was very tight. But anyway worked and didn't damage LED. I hope the solder holds LED in place and good connection.

I had a similar problem of the Power Supply on this Samsung LED TV recycling on and off where you can hear the main relay clicking on and off
After extensive tracing and diagnosing (and lots of luck----I did not have a schematic to work with) I found that if you ground the collector tab of D9052 to COLD Ground, the cycling will cease and a normal operation is restored.
Apparently, on this Model TV set, if the Light Inverter circuit senses an anomaly to the current and voltage fed to the LED light banks, it will throw off and error signal to the input pins of D9052 which will turn the collector of D9052 (tab---the center outward pin) to 3v instead of virtual zero volts. This 3 volts will trigger the cycling of the power supply.
Thanks, I did as you described, I soldered the single leg side of the diode to the ground, the rlay switching problem was solved and the TV turned on.

Re: Samsung / Hansol BN44-00428b
Hopefully, this is form is still active. I have had issues with my un55 powering on, the power light just blinked and would not come turn on. So here I am trying to replace the power supply board but none are available atm. Upon inspection of the board BN44-00428B I saw the contacts to the transformer are burned!
I could resolder the contacts which would possibly fix the issue but I really want to replace the transformer. Unfortunately, I cannot seem to find a data sheet to find one similar to replace. All I've been able to find is that its a EFD5055S(450uH).
Hopefully, one of yall might have some input.
