    Help HX620 Corsair

    Hello guys!

    I need some help in identifying this encircled component.




    Mine got toasted and I need to replace this so I could try reviving this psu.
    Thanks in advance guys.

    I think it's an NTC thermistor for inrush current protection, like these:

      That is correct, as you can see one side is connected to the + of the filter cap, so it is burnt due to shorts in the circuit some where, or just failed due to under rated.

            Just as with fuses, i wouldn't jump straight to replacing it, before checking for damages "downstream". If something went wrong and toasted the NTC, if you just solder in a new one and turn the PSU on again, there's a certain chance that, whatever the initial issue was, it might cause further damage.

            Just advising caution, that's all
