LG 42LC7D PS Cap replacement help

Hi, New member here. I have searched for help with my question and although I have found a bit of helpful posts I still need some guidance.

I have a power supply (EAY3723110 ?) out of a LG 42LC7D TV that has 6 bulged caps. I plan on replacing all the caps with something of higher quality (Rubycon probably). I am relatively new to replacing these component level parts although I have done by fair share of soldering etc so I'm up for the job.

I made a list of all the caps and went to order from digikey when I ran into a problem. The caps have the UF and Voltage listed, some with temp, but none of them seem to have ripple current and Impedance listed. When ordering I have narrowed my selection down but still have a choice of about 4 different ripple current and Impedance choices.

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated on the matter. I can list the caps if need be.

    Thanks!

Just fixed another one last week, I use PANASONIC FM and FR series, just match the dimension, the 2200uF on this board has two size one has smaller body than the other two.
FM/FR are all I used for all repair. Get them from Digikey

Thanks for the reply. That brings me to another issue. I've seen the capacitor kits on ebay for this model of TV and I found it odd that they didn't have what I need.

      You mention the two 2200uF caps on the board. My board does not have these. The caps I have are two big 450V 180uF, 3 1000uF 35V, 1 220uF 35V, 4 1000uF 25V, 6 680uF 25V, 2 220uF 25V, 3 22uF 50V, and 1 47uF ??V.

I've got EAY3273110 on this power supply along with a white barcode with I79BI327311020924

What do you make of this power supply being in this TV?

Does your board look like the one in my picture? They may have more than one versions. But that does not matter as long as you use good caps for the replacement. You do not really need to replace the 180uF 450V one, it rarely failed.

Here are the pictures. Sorry for the crappy photos, I'm no photographer.

I planned on replacing all Capacitors except those two big ones I just wasn't sure about the ripple current and impedance. I see those Panasonics I don't have a choice.

You cannot go wrong with PANASONIC, I use them in the last 10 years. FC came out, then FM, then FR series.

Ok thanks. Is there any difference in the series FM FR etc? I'm just looking for the longest lasting ones for the least money. Isn't everyone haha

Re: LG 42LC7D PS Cap replacement help

FR is the newer released caps with lower price and longer life, etc.

Re: LG 42LC7D PS Cap replacement help

I've replaced the caps on the power supply and still no luck. I'm not sure if I have another problem or my soldering skills are lacking (which they are). When I plug the TV in a can hear a definite click from the power supply and I get 5 blinks from the green LED on the front before it finally stays solid the 6th time. occasionally open plugging the tv in and turning it on I can see the backlight come on for a split second and go back out. The power supply clicks again upon unplugging the TV.

Does the 5 flashes of the light indicate a certain fault code? Any additional things to try before I just order a new Power supply and practice my soldering skills for next time?

Re: LG 42LC7D PS Cap replacement help

UPDATE: Finally got the new power supply I ordered in the TV and now I am getting 5 or 6 GREEN flashes then the light goes solid green. Sometimes when I plug it up the screen flashes on and off real quick also.

So now I am getting a flashing green light when I was getting a flashing red light before.

                        What gives?
