SLOT-A cleaning

I pulled a slot-a (A0750MPR24B) out of a 'working' GA-71XE to blow the crud out of the heat sink... and now it won't power on... did I miss something stupid???

Have you pushed it hardly enough so that it's fully seated in the slot? It can be hard on some boards.
