This is the first time I've re-built a power supply since my success with the Rexpower. It was a "450W" (more like 450mW) Explodegen. Here's what I did to it.
2A 4 diode treatment - 6A Rectifier
470uF HEC primary caps (now, what the hec were they doing there?) - 680uF Panny HC
No-name 13007 TO-220 switchers - TO-247 Fairchild 13009s
Extra X-cap and coil on the input filter
ERL-33 transformer - ERL 35
16A fast recovery rectifier (for 12V) - 2x SBL2060CT 20A schottky rectifiers
12A schorrky rectifier (3.3v) - SBL3040PT 30A schottky
30A schottky rectifier (5v) - 2x STPS3045CW 30A schottkys
2x 1000uF 10V HEC caps ov 5v and 3.3v - 2x 3300uF 6.3v Panny FK
1x 1000uF 16V HEC on 12V rail - 3300uF 16V Samxon RS (thx topcat)
1x 1000uF 10V HEC on 5vsb - 1200uF 6.3V Chemi-con KZE
470uF 16V HEC on -12V - 470uF 16V Ruby ZL
