Don't think you'll find any specs on Jun Fu caps. Or... wait. Thank God for Google Translate. The datasheet shows that worst case ESR is 0.06 ohms, so both of your Jun Fu caps are within spec. Like all cheap brands, they're only rated for 2000 hrs tho.

For example, the latest bloated 1000uF 16V KZGs I pulled from a motherboard, they all read between 100uF and 330uF.

If you have a multimeter that can measure capacitance, try these caps on it.

Thanks for the datasheet, but the vent doesn't match the datasheet specifications. The datasheet shows a vent much like a Mercedes badge, but this one is just a cross. Wonder if they are fake crap caps? That would be strange... Or maybe Jun Fu just rebadge caps...

          Re: PSU fan stopped...

It depends on the meter, but around here it's common knowledge that if a cap registers significantly higher than it should then it is probably bad (high leakage). As for the vent... i think they just use whatever comes in handy. I have a bunch of (still good) Jun Fu caps pulled from various PSUs, i'll check their vents tomorrow, but IIRC mine have a mercedes type logo indeed. Anyway, we can at least agree that the color in the datasheet matches the caps, so that's probably good enough.

Judging by their site i'd say they manufacture the caps themselves. http://www.junfu.com.tw/

Tested with a multimeter. Nearly the same results. A few measured about 100uF lower than the ESR70 says which put them barely in spec.

Probably both the multimeter and the ESR70 test the same way; perhaps they are susceptible to high leakage?

I just tested a sample; they measured around 8kohm (fixed range), which is awful leakage, and probably means they are completely shot.

Off beat small companies like Jun Fu don't make their parts, they buy them.
That means their cans will have whatever vent the cans they bought have.

I chose whatever I could get. I'm not going to spend £16 to get some caps, when I can buy another POS power supply for £15 from fleabay. It's stable and the PC still boots (was working as before.) I'm not complaining.

Does this mean their specifications are just an average of their suppliers? I have one Jun Fu 680uF/16V that measures 0.03 ohms, and another that measures 0.06 ohms.

No, maybe, depends on what you mean.
I don't mean like they buy caps and rebrand them.
They actually make the caps but they buy at least some of the foil, cans, leads, bungs, and electrolyte from someone else.
The larger companies usually make most of these parts in house. - More consistent product.
The small ones usually outsource at least some of them, if not all.
                          .
                          You're measuring -used- caps.
They aren't likely to be the same anymore.
With one at 2x the ESR of the other it looks like one is definitely shot, the other maybe.

The cap meter measured it at 732uF (rated 680uF +/-20%). I didn't check for DC resistance.

The power supply still worked with these bad caps, even when playing a game on a power hungry 9800GT occasionally, but I don't think it would have lasted.

Is there any high current pouch battery that are size 60mmX80mm maximum thickness 21mm for a battery operated tab welder

I have a battery operated tab welder and the battery does not have enough current for the battery tab welder because after about 30 welded it does not have the same current output it voltage has gone down by at least 0.500 volts or maybe a more than that

I can fit 21700 battery cells in the enclosure it is very tight fit for four of them that are 35 amp high current capacity 35X4=140 high current output this should work a lot better than what is installed right now

I tested the battery cells there are installed right now and they are testing good with no issues that I...

                                  by CG2
I've got a dehumidifier that has stopped working. Plug it in, press the power switch, and it beeps 5 times. Nothing showing in the display (which is just two 7 segment displays) apart from the two decimal points flashing. The model is a MeacoDry Arete One 18L, which seems to be a rebadged Deye (all the boards are marked Deye). Here's what I've got so far (details in case anyone else in future should need them).

Starting with the power board. Mains power comes in at the red connector top left. The compressor is powered by the orange connector to the right of that and is switched by...

Extreme High Current & Low Voltage Short Killer ??
                                  by DynaxSC
                                  Hi Folks

I'm looking for a extreme high current short killer solution for a reasonable cost.

I have an LGA1700 motherboard (ASUS PRIME Z790-P WiFi) where I exchanged the LGA socket already 3 times, and every time after the socket exchange I get a short of power supply lines VCORE (V variable) and VCCIN_AUX (1.8V).
After taking off the socket, the shorts dissappear again.
The soldermask on the socket is already partially demaged from the heat, so I have reconstructed the soldermask by manually painting the missing soldermask parts with a very small top of a...

Is there any reason why high voltage high resistance resistor use weird marking and value on it? Standard nomenclature, EIA value not used?...

                                  Hello,

I know some might say... just buy another one. Sell it as parts..!

So had this AMP for quite some time. Recently I saw light smoke coming out of the AMP. Had my fire extinguisher close by. Just kidding. Turned immediately all devices off from mains.
Let things cool a bit, and opened up the amp device. I clearly saw on the main board which hosts the 5X amp (5.1), 3 10 ohms 1W resistors had their leads looking black, while the rest of the remaining 2 x 10 ohms were brownish as being installed from factory.

Spent some time downloading the Service...
