Forget any letter on the end, there is only one 820-02016 for M1 Air
See post #15 by whizkidz in this thread.
Board is bvr not brd so use Flex Board view or Open Board View (some versions check with Piernov) to open bvrMy YouTube channel - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCiD...5d6OgizDqoi_SAComment

Just discovered this today. Working on a liquid damaged board, and cleaning up corrosion around UC300. The pin numbering is back to front in the schematic in the schematic for RC321, hence why its wrong on the boardview. I will refer to the pins as they currently are on the boardview.
CC328 pin 1 connects on the board to RC321 pin 1 not pin 2 (the bottom of the resistor, not the top). RC321 pin 2 connects to UC300/22 and CC329 pin 1.
CC332 also back to front on the pinout too

Best to tag whizkidz seeing as he is the kind person tot made the boardview. I don't think that he can fix the schematic but he should be able to fix his boardview after confirming your findings. Also I am pretty sure that the boardview is generated totally independently of the schematic. The schematics are always leaked from Apple but sometimes people like whizkidz are smart enough to generate a boartdviw by mainly careful inspection of the logic board.Last edited by Pedro147; 03-28-2025, 05:44 PM.My YouTube channel - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCiD...5d6OgizDqoi_SAComment

by rouninHi everyone,
I'm working on a MacBook Air 2020 (A2337, board 820-02016) and running into a strange USB-C issue. I've gone through quite a bit of testing and part replacement, but I'm stuck — hoping someone here can shed some light.
🛠 Original Issue
The machine initially wouldn't negotiate 20V over USB-C — stuck at 5V.
Diagnosis showed PP1V5_UPC0_LDO_CORE shorted to ground.
I replaced U3100 (UF400) using a donor board (A2179), and the machine powers on fine now.

by obelix24I'm working on Macbook air a2337
It's stuck on 5V.
I've replaced both CD3217B12 IC's and U8100
When i connect USB-C ampmeter i'm getting 5V 0.01 - 0.4a and restart ampmeter and again ....
I tried to connect to another mac and i'm not able to get it to DFU.
history is that this macbook just died randomly and owner was not able to start it again.
PPBUS_AON is 12.3V
i'm missing PP5V_S2 - 0V

by mkdjHello everyone,
About me, my goal and the equipment I (don't) have:
I am brand new to this forum, and I am eager to learn about repairing laptops. I have an engineer background although I haven't done electronics for a while. I have watched several Youtube videos in the last two months, trying to understand how to diagnose a faulty motherboard. I have a USB-C Amp meter and a classic multi meter. No DC Power Supply to inject voltage, no soldering iron to replace components.
About my issue and my goal:
A friend of mine has a MacBook Air M1 A2337 that does not... - Loading...
