Hi guys! need LA-8711P - HP M6 motherboard
M/B starts and shutdown - Need to check PCIRST signal from PCH to KBC - need to know pin details of KB932QF A0. Not sure which got busted KBC or PCH.

Thanks a lot.
Are there more revisions of the board? My one has two SPI BIOS chips UH2 (which is in that schematic) and UH5 - it isn't.

Could anybody share BIOS and EC dumps?

Do you know, why another SPI UH5 on my board is, next to UH2? Some kind of backup?

it depends on chip... some boards have EC (KBC, SIO) rom (bios) in it, others have password storage from TPM, others have LAN modules for boot over lan (PXE, RPL), other have usb3.0 firmware or additional sata or esata controller rom... maybe you could read it and send me so i can take a look and determine... i did not find that UH5 on schematics...

I am a little bit confused. My board has 2 SPI BIOS rom UH2 (4Mbit) and UH5 (2Mbit) and EC BIOS chip U6. See attachements.
On schematic from ala_borbe is UH5 not present. So what board Do I have at all, if it is QCL50 LA-8711P rev 1.0?

BIOS dump from ala_borbe is only for UH2 4MBit, unfortunatelly there is no EC dump.

Does somebody have any explanation?

i repair 2 boards today.

no power one had caps shorted near pq203(connected to) and one near pq304(connected to).

if this help someone.
